Jade's eyes were blurry as he slowly shifted and fluttered his eyes open. Silhouettes of the miners were seen towering over him as they stared intently at him.

"Huh? Why are you guys looking at me?" Jade asked as he recovered. He stood and churched his neck and took a step back from the miners.

Jacky first spoke up, "You're fine right? You do be look'in a little roughed up." Jade waved it aside, "Yeah, I've seen way worse."

Dynamike walked up to Jade and pointed to his arm, "And what's in there?" Jade looked at his arm and laughed, "Oh. That's just my prosthetic arm."

"Don't play dumb with me. What's inside your sleeve, under your arm?" Dynamike repeated as Carl went by his side.

Jade did and 'o' before looking down and saying, "You guys must have seen it while I was out huh? Just give me a minute." The scientist turned and walked ahead before kneeling and examining his arm.

"1,2,3...I have three so far. The one that I got recently was the core. No wonder it was so unstable." Jade stood up and sighed, walking back to the miners.

"Well, I guess I should let the secrets roll out huh?" Jade assumed.

Dynamike crossed his arms, "Explain then, why you have so many with you, and what's your purpose with them?"

Jade rolled his eyes, "Do you really think I'm an agent from...what was it called? Stare Park?"

Dynamike glared harder, "Maybe. And it's Starrpark." Carl also stated, "There's a 65% chance that you work with Starr park, a 30% you are working for someone else that is not Starr park, and a 10% chance that you are just a normal person looking for these gems.

Jade sighed and shook his head, before explaining his story, giving another 3 more people light on his rather secret situation.

"And that's why, I know how to handle the shard pieces. Do you guys believe me now?"

Jacky nodded with the others, "Yeah...sorry we didn't know what your actions were about."

"I've heard rumors about agents trying to get hold of these crystals! Thank goodness they have not and a strong force like you is defending it." Dynamike explained.

"I won't say I'm that strong but thanks for the compliment. I get that a lot." Jade replied.

Dynamike gave him an eyebrow raise, "I'd have reasons to call you a strong force." Jade then understood what Dynamike was actually saying,
So he did see what I did to protect the others.

"Well then, I should get moving then. I have to get home—deposit my quest rewards for the day y'know."

Jacky realised something before taking out a satchel and handing it to Jade, "Take this for your troubles. Thanks for your help down the mine!"

Carl patted his minecart, "I give you my biggest thanks! I don't know what I'd do if I hadn't gotten my minecart back!"

Dynamike patted Jade on the back as he walked away with the other miners.

Jade looked at the satchel he had and took a peek. There were green gems inside.

"Damn...I feel like I just completed a main quest line in a video game...heheh."

Jade proceeded out of the gem mine and towards Pam's.
