Timmy...my friend...

No...my last bit of humanity...gone.

I have saved this for the most desperate of times. I feared using it would destroy me. The consequences make staying under wraps impossible. But now...I can finally use this.

Astro looked at a cylindrical object with rounded ends, having yellow light flowing on the insides. He crushed the pill-shaped object and watched as light began engulfing his palm.

...

The victory against Timone was short-lived. The cheers ceased when a bright yellow light erupted from the horizon.

Jade flinched away, as he covered his eyes with his arm. As he peeked from the crevices of his fingers, he saw Astro slowly hovering up into the air.

His body healed and his injuries faded into scars and into nothingness. The yellow light seeped from his hand as he shot a beam of light into the dark sky.

The sound of thunder boomed as lighting zapped through the clouds.

The brawlers stood their ground, for The Founder had turned his attention to them.

"Jade!" Astro shouted from across the muddy plain, voice seemingly echoing through the sky.

"The shard. Give it to me, now." Astro boomed.

Pam trotted to stand by Jade's side. "I didn't want to believe it...but the Founder has taken the power of a supercell completely. The full power resonates from the very core of his soul. No human succeeded in doing so...how did he?"

Jade huffed as he took a step forward, towards The Founder. "Never! You have gone insane, your motives are beyond reasonable!" Jade projected.

The Founder seemed to shake his head, "As you wish." Suddenly, from the back of Jade's head, he heard a hollow and soulless voice, "I was being reasonable, Jade. You will pay for killing Timmy Jackson."

Jade's eyes went wide as he felt his spine crawl with tension. Cold sweat trickled down his forehead—Astro had used telepathy.

A laugh was heard before Astro threw a large star towards the brawlers.

Jade walled off the pounding stars as he defended the other brawlers.

Each time the stars failed to pierce the sword shield, they struck again and again, harder each time.

Jade could hear screams from children as they saw the looming stars stabbing at the translucent hue of the swords.

Jade started coughing, "Guys...run! I c-can't...keep holding...u-up." The pain was near unbearable, like knives stabbing at his arms and chest.

The shield shattered as the swords fell to the ground. The brawlers got out of the way as Jade kneeled down, exhausted and completely worned out.

He stood up but saw an approaching figure. Astro had landed and grabbed Jade by the neck, "I shall have this then." Astro chuckled as he tore the shard out of Jade's palm.

Jade felt his grasp on life slowly slipping away, as his vision faded.

He uttered a few words, "You...a-are a fool."

Astro's face darkened behind his mask as he shot Jade out from his hand using a beam of light.

Astro flicked the insignificant insect off his hand, before looking at the broken parts of the supercell he shattered and took off into the air.

Brawlers rushed to the side of Jade and some stared fearfully at The Founder.

A few brawlers sat down, embracing the end of the world.

The Founder hovered just below the clouds before handling both the shard, and the power of the supercell. He pushed them into each other, and the colours of yellow and blue stained into a green mixture. With great effort, Astro combined their power—forming a green and ominous looking shard, glowing bright lime.

The shard moved so rapidly that it formed after-images. Astro shot a beam of green light that switched to blue and purple with vibrant consistency.

...

"It's not working! He isn't waking up!"

Panic took over as the brawlers tried to revive Jade, they witnessed something terrifying.

The Starrpark Armageddon had just begun, and so it was the start of the beginning of the end.
