A boy with pale blonde hair strolled quietly through the halls as he held a balloon. An orange balloon dog flew around him as he smiled, "Come on spooky! Heheh." Spooky landed on the boy's shoulder as he walked to a vending machine.

He took out a coin and inserted it in the machine, having it dispense a purple drink. The boy grabbed the drink and opened the can.

From behind, a looming figure towered over the small boy. He turned around and got a shock, "Hey! You scared me..." he said.

The figure was a tall greenish robot which was translucent, "Sorry Gus, but we found something nice that we wanted to show you." The ghost bot apologised.

"For me?" Gus asked as he received a blue shard that glowed with blue and purple hue. It glowed radiantly in the ominous haunting atmosphere, bright and clear.

"Cool...it doesn't look like it's from here. I'll go read about the latest news—maybe I can find something. But for now, it's mine!"

Gus walked away while drinking from his can and examining the shard.

...

"Alright dude, we are here." Buster said reluctantly. Jade stood outside of the train station as he looked down the stairway, "That's very dark. Any lights gonna turn on?" Jade asked. Buster shook his head, "It's a ghost station for a reason!"

Jade unsleeved his shirt to see the canister of shard pieces. "Damn you're really into this shard thing huh?" Buster remarked.

"Duh, it's my only way back home." Jade reminded.

Jade began waking down as he held his rifle upwards, "You guys coming?" Jade asked Fang and Buster.

"Never! Not in there again!" Buster shouted. Fang just put his arms up and shook his head.

Jade shrugged and went down the dark stairway.

...

The light from the surface dimmed the deeper Jade went, until he was shrouded in complete darkness. Jade put on his glasses and turned its lights on. He also turned on a flashlight for more light.

As the beam of light shone on the walls of the station, Jade saw many posters for movies and advertisements from companies. He also saw many newspapers and books scattered across the area.

The ground was tiled with foul green moldy tiles. Moss dotted the pillars as Jade continued through the hallway.

Jade reached a set of barred doors with wire mesh covering the windows. He attempted to open the doors, but they wouldn't budge.

Jade summoned a sword and stabbed it into the doors, but he couldn't cut through even if he tried. The doors weren't normal, the metal wasn't cut but sparks came flying everywhere.

Jade sighed as he stepped back, pondering what to do.

The doors had an eerie green glow from below before it unlocked itself and opened to a large brightly lit train station, where the tracks lie ahead.
