Chapter 40: Newcomer

A blond haired man ran through the woods as he stopped in front of the gates to Brawltopia. He wore a bland greenish vest with a black military uniform below.

He turned around and saw some robots chasing him and took out a pistol in defense.

"Alright! Out of the woods, no more ambushes!"

He fired his pistol and punched the bots away, but more came and before long he would be overwhelmed. The man was tackled and the robots started forming a dogpile.

The gate opened and Pam came running out, along with some robots and people who were all armed.

They destroyed the attacking bots before aiming at the blond man. He held his arms in surrender, "I'm friendly! A brawler, just like you guys!"

Pam raised an eyebrow and lowered her weapon, "And how can we trust you?"

The man stood up and dusted himself off, "I escaped starrpark, and barely made it. I'm a brawler, let me show you!"

He summoned a black metal sword from his hand and showed it to Pam.

"Hmm...come on, we'll let you in."

The man kept his sword back into his sleeve before following Pam into the building.

"New brawler?" Jade read the news as he leaned against the giftshop. "Damn...first the 3 now this guy? Now I feel old." Colette patted Jade on the back, "Don't worry, we've all been through it!"

Recent discussions have been revolving around the new guy and his mysterious appearance. He wasn't found in a newly discovered area—no, he came to Brawltopia on his own accord. He got out of starrpark, on his own doing.

While he was recovering from his traumatic experience with the robots, his name was not actually given, but he told people to call him Timone. (Tee-moe-n)

This new appearance had raised Jade's attention—maybe he could find something of interest. Or better, a Shard piece.
