Leon entered the hotel room as he went to the balcony and looked upwards, "Hey Lou, Jade's room is upstairs right?"

"Yes, I'm sure, kid. I met him today. I suggest you take the evening to plan out what you want. Then do it tomorrow." Lou was about to leave, "But remember...this stays under wraps. If Mr. P finds out, you and I are done for."

Lou nodded for Leon to continue and patted Sandy's back whispering, "You'll probably be dead from Jade." before smiling and leaving.

Sandy sighed, and took a quick glance at Leon. "Please don't mess up..."

Leon dismissed him, "I won't...I hope. Heheh...eh." Sandy closed the door. Leon uncoiled some rope that Sandy had given and fastened a few blades he got from his tribe. He roped together the bedsheets and tried to throw his grapple up.

The blades caught on the balcony bars, and Leon could climb easily. The Snowtel wasn't that towering and Leon knew parkour decently—not as good as someone else though.

Leon placed his hands on his hips and smirked at his work, "I'll crack the case tomorrow morning."

...

Jade received Pam's items and was told that she would build the portal in her junkyard. "Visit often, I need to keep many things in mind, so remind me of your project." Jade assured Pam he'd be back, "And I'll try to get the money."

Jade carried a bag of smaller parts as he exited the junkyard. The day was dimming as the sun slowly set. Jade started back home, but took a little time studying the map before finding his way past the Arcade and Retropolis.

He came by the Arcade that was still bright and lit. Retropolis was like Supercity but darker. People lurked in the shadows, gang fights everywhere.

The scientist in white did get confronted many times, but he diffused most of them through gun threatening.

He stopped by a diner named—Bull's, and entered. He figured he should buy his food early so that he could consume them at home when night struck.

The cashier was a teenage girl who was actually quite friendly for her looks. Not the most friendly, but still friendly for such a dangerous place.

He also caught a glimpse of the cook, who was a chunky man who dawned strong arms that could crush any skull.

Jade returned home shortly after in swift pace.

He had entered his room with the bag of parts as he scattered them on his table. "I'll...deal with this tomorrow."

He set his dinner on the table, "Alternate Universe Earth food. Not bad."

He took a quick shower and prepared his outfit for tomorrow, instead wearing a shirt and long pants to bed.

Before long, the tired traveler fell flat on his back, fast asleep.
