Jade woke up slowly and immediately stood up. However, he hit his head on the top of the cage and was set back down.

Beside him was Gus and Max.

He realised his hands were cuffed in special magic metal but didn't know what they did.

"What the hell happened? Why isn't anyone breaking out?" Jade asked. Max looked drained from energy and replied with a pained response, "We can't do anything. The cuffs prevent us from using our abilities."

Jade felt anger boiling in him, he looked at his cuffs and started yelling in frustration. Ignoring the weird looks he got from other brawlers in cages. He hit the cuffs in the cage and ignored the pain in his hand, "Faaaacking FACK! I should have taken those shards when I could! Why didn't I? WHY DIDN'T I?"

"Can you...keep it down...?" Gus urged as he attempted to get Spooky back.

Jade was hyperventilating, but started to calm himself down. He couldn't let his old wrath get to him.

He whispered to himself in a certain language and chanted a few lines before breathing and fully calming down.

"I'll repeat once more: No binds can stop me."

Gene and Sandy looked at each other in confusion but nodded hopefully.

...

A few hours passed and soon, a starrpark staff member came in. He asked for Pam and Jade to follow them. So they did.

Jade was sat in a dark room where his hands were cuffed to the table. There were two guards behind him, but they left the room when he sat down.

The interrogation commenced.

Jade looked at the large mirror beside them but the interrogator clicked his fingers in his direction.

"We are here to ask a few questions. If you fail to answer them, there will be consequences."

Jade growled, "There will be indeed. There will be..."

The interrogator started asking about the shards and how they worked. Jade spoke with confidence and told them facts for the shards. But his patience was waning and his weariness grew stronger every minute.

"How can we use the shards?" The interrogator finally asked.

Jade smiled, "How do you think you can use it sir?"

The interrogator seemed taken aback, even with his starrpark mask.

"Answer us. Or there will be consequences."

Jade's eyes went cold, "I'll answer you in—3..."

The people behind the one sided mirror readied their rifles and grew tense.

"2."

The interrogator clenched his paper and was about to stand up.

"1."

The interrogator stood up but his face was met with the stock of Jade's flying shotgun. Words cannot describe how he died(brutally). The interrogator collapsed to the ground and Jade sliced his cuffs with a sword he summoned and slid under the table and rolled close to the wall of the mirror.

The guards couldn't see Jade and proceeded into the room.

Surprise, surprise, the guards were met with his fists.

He grabbed the first guard's face and crushed him into a wall.

There was a gun pointed to his head but he dodged down and pulled the gun towards his side.

He punched the user and smacked the 3rd and 4th guy with the gun.

He tackled another guard and punched him in his face with a flurry of attacks.

A guard fired a shot but a wall of swords caused the bullet to go clinking off. Jade stood up slowly before suddenly sending the swords towards the guard.

The guard was a pincushion and the walls were dotted with swords.

Sirens went off and Jade grabbed two swords from the wall and four to circle his back.

He met guards on the way but took them out when he threw a high gravity set of sliding swords towards his enemies.

He spun his shotgun and did many flamboyant kills with it. The guards were running from bridge to bridge. The location was bigger than Jade had thought—it was underground.

Jade was running forth towards the other brawlers and could see their shocked and hopeful faces.

"Guys I'm here! We gotta-"

Jade was knocked by a metal object and was sent to the ground.

A robot with a car for a head and different city items for its limbs was holding a 'stop' sign. It's eyes were the headlamps on the car and were coloured green.

Jade rolled to the side and pushed himself away as he saw the sign axe puncture the ground.

The brawlers gasped—there was another brawler from Starrpark.

The two fighters stood their ground, waiting.
