AMY

Yesterday was 17th May, Daniel had left to travel to Barcelona ahead of this weekends Spanish Grand Prix. Michael, Scotty and Blake had all travelled with him.

It always felt strange when he left. When we are together, we would act like a couple who have been together for years; he always shows me off to his friends and doesn't care about public displays of affection. When he's not here, we don't talk as much as we should. I do find it hard to not worry about him, in and out of the Formula One car. I understood that his schedules were chaotic and most days he didn't have a second to breathe, but something just felt off.

I didn't have much time to sit and dwell on the situation though as today was another shoot day, for both me and Rachel. We travelled into Covent Garden and made our way into the small studio located by the main square. We had been invited by Red Fashion Magazines to appear in the middle page spread to promote different fashion houses and fragrance companies. We had never done a shoot together before so we were both very excited to start.

We arrived in the studio, the smell of hairspray filled my senses as we were greeted by the production staff and ushered into the chairs to get our hair and makeup done.

"Have you heard from Daniel?" Rachel asked as she drove us home.

"No, but I'm sure he's just super busy." I told Rachel as she looked over at me, shooting me a sympathetic glance.

"You two don't talk much when you aren't together." She admitted and firmly pressed the brake to stop as the lights changed red.

"It's hard. We aren't even official yet and I already feel like we have communication problems." I confessed and leant my head up against the window, looking out at the busy London traffic.

"Why don't you text him? I understand his lifestyle is busy but surely he's not too busy to talk to you? It's only an hour time difference as well so he has very little excuse." Rachel started the car again as we went through the now green light, heading for Notting Hill.
