AMY

As I informed Rachel of the news, she looked at me, not saying a word. She looked disappointed and upset as she shrugged her shoulders down to the floor.

"Rachel, say something." I informed her and sat up in bed. "Do you think it's a bad idea?" I asked.

"No, absolutely not." She half smiled and finally looked up at me. "I'm just going to miss you." She confessed and sat down next to me again. She placed her hand on mine and looked into my eyes. "We've lived together for eight years, had each other in our lives since forever and now you're going to leave, just like that?"

"I'm not leaving. I haven't even decided." I softly spoke to reassure my friend. "Do you think you could come with us?"

"I can't, Ames." Rachel groaned. "Not with our jobs. If you're being true to yourself, I don't think you can go, comfortably, knowing that your job is secured."

"I know. I just don't know what to do." I looked down at our linked hands, studying the manicure on Rachel's hand.

"Hey." Rachel said causing me to look up. "Maybe you should consider his offer. You're going to be a Victoria Secret angel in a couple of months. Maybe then, you've achieved everything you had hoped for? Then it would make sense to leave and see the world with Daniel."

"I can't imagine life without you Rach." I let a couple of tears slip down my face.

"We will always be in each other's worlds, you'll always be the sister I never had." Rachel started to cry herself. The silence embraced us as we both held onto each other for a little while longer.

"What should I do?" I asked my best friend. She had always given me the best advice over the years and the thought of not having her around any more to decide things for me made my heart hurt.

"I think you should go with him. This is your chance at happiness now and God knows you deserve it more than anyone." Rachel's bright blue eyes gazed into mine. "It's going to be incredible."

"Promise me that we will make time for each other." I stated and shook Rachel's hands.

"You won't be able to get rid of me, even if you tried." Rachel cried some more, mascara now leaving trails down her soft pale cheeks.

Breaking us apart was a knock at the door.

"Come in!" Rachel yelled as the door was unlocked and ready to be pushed open. The door swung open to reveal Daniel and Michael. They both looked at us, holding each other's hands and crying together in bed.

"Are you two alright?" Michael smiled as the boys walked in and shut the door behind them. I nodded at Michael's question as he gave me a comforting smile.

"Now listen here Danny Ric," Rachel jumped down from the bed and walked over in Daniel's direction. She held her index finger out towards him and point into his chest, "You look after her. If anything bad happens to her, you'll have me to answer too."

"I promise, I wouldn't let anything bad happen." Daniel convinced Rachel as her shoulders relaxed.

"Also, it would be nice to get paddock passes once in a while so I can come a visit." She smirked and folder her arms across her chest. Michael rolled his eyes in the background at Rachel's sudden boldness.

"That can be easily arranged." Daniel nodded and gave Rachel a friendly hug. They pulled apart and Daniel looked over at me. "I guess you're coming with me then?"

I nodded at his question as he made his way over to me on the bed. He wrapped his arms around me and gave me a massive, bone-crushing embrace.
