2023 Opinion
I've changed my mind. I do indeed ship these two. A lot. Marlene reminds me of Sirius, and I think that Mary could handle that intensity, especially since she reminds me of James. I think it's cute when well-written and in certain situations. In particular, I love unrequited or right-person-wrong-time Marylene who eventually get together properly. Plus, it has so much potential for angst. These two would be the best party-goers in all of Gryffindor, and I feel that they're compatible. I ship it!
