Parvati and Pansy, two strong women, together? Yes please! I absolutely loved the one-shots I read about this, and honestly I could see them together. It's definitely a rare pair, but a good one (half my ships aren't very common though). Parvati and Pansy are both strong-willed, intelligent, extroverted, and just generally fiery people. They'd be a badass duo and actually able to handle each other's flaws. They'd be enemies-to-lovers, or childhood-friends-to-enemies-to-lovers since it's suggested that they knew each other before Hogwarts in the Harry Potter books. Pansy's a lot more aloof and private, so Parvati may get her to open up more. Plus, I hc that they both love dancing, and we know they canonically both liked gossip, so that's two shared hobbies.
I also imagine Pansy as Southeast Asian (though I like Latina Pansy too), so they'd be wlw Asians which is underrepresented. They'd totally understand prejudice as well as the experiences around being POC women. Imagine them cooking Indian and like, Indonesian food together or shopping for the cutest traditional clothes! Ahh, so adorable. Another reason I like them is because their flaws are quite similar, to me at least. Pansy is judgmental, prone to gossip, ambitious, and probably very impatient. She's also not very brave, but that's something that she doesn't share with Parvati.
Parvati, on the other hand, is brave, but also loves gossip, judging, achieving her ambitions (or so I think) and is impatient. They'd understand each other and maybe resolve conflict well because of this.
They're both extroverted and structured, too. Sorry this chapter is so long, I just really like this ship and never hear about it from other members of this fandom. Seriously, I'd love to talk more about it. What do y'all think?
