Fleurmione (Fleur/Hermione)

I could've sworn I already did this but I can't find the chapter on it so...I guess not. My feelings for this ship have changed over the (many, many, many) years from indifferent to slightly negative to positive.

I ship this now, of course, hence the positive. It is a lovely dynamic and probably my second favourite Hermione ship! Fleur is quite similar to Hermione — they're both stubborn, brave, intelligent, structured, and logical. They'd function well in a relationship. Because they're both so judgmental and, again, structured, they'd have some issues planning things, but they're also somewhat decent at compromising, so I'm sure they'd figure it out. I think these two getting together would have shown great character growth for Hermione as well as helped to reverse the misogyny directed at Fleur.

They're also extremely ambitious. Both would take their career very seriously and would likely experience some workaholic issues. However, this is also a good thing because they'll both be in similar fields with jobs that are time-consuming and busy. Neither would be too angry about the other having to cancel dates or work really late for work as they'd understand the importance of it, whereas someone like Ron (though I do ship them, this is an area where they're not all that compatible) wouldn't. They would have to make sure that they scheduled time for themselves and each other, though, or they may never get quality time together!

Then again, them working from home would be really cute. Imagine them both helping each other work, cooking snacks, and complaining about their day in front of their computers together. Sure, it's not ideal, but it's cute considering the conditions. I just think their lives would be very similar. Plus, Hermione would be willing to learn French for Fleur and could read English stories to her when she wants to practice English (even though she's pretty good already).

So, yes, it's cute and I definitely ship it.
