2023 opinion
This would be adorable! Soft Ravenclaw girlfriends for the win! I'm aware we don't see that much of them together in canon, but they seem to get along at least. I think they probably interacted more than we saw since they're both Ravenclaws. Two years apart, mind you, but it seems fairly plausible since they had plenty of opportunities to bond (common room, classes, the DA, etc). It'd only work if Cho didn't criticise Luna's eccentricity, and I'm not sure she could resist because honestly, she does seem a tad judgemental. Then again, she is a Ravenclaw for a reason and we're known for being open-minded (it is actually one of the offical traits listed). Plus, who knows how she'd be after the war? Luna is empathetic, perceptive, non-judgemental and a good listener which are all traits Cho wants in a partner, as we saw in canon. I think her openness to "strange" things would be good for Cho — she's always struck me as someone who cares a lot about what others think of her. In that way, she probably admires Luna and feels safe to be herself around her. They'd both be very affectionate and able to have intellectually stimulating conversations. I could see them discussing conspiracy theories together too. That's something Luna doesn't always get in pairings which frustrates me; Luna is intelligent, more so than people recognise. She just expresses it in different ways. Cho could provide her the intellectual compatibility she isn't expected to need, but does. Also, we don't know much about Cho's hobbies (other than quidditch of course), but she seems like the creative type which would gel very well with Luna. Anyway, I ship them a lot.Rating: 8/10.
