2023 Opinion
I heard about these two yesterday (I think) and I actually like them. Not a lot, but enough to wish there were more fanfics about them. Hear me out, okay? It'd be cute. Why?

1. They're similar. It may not seem like it on the surface, but they are. Percy is known for his ambition, intelligence, and Slytherin-like qualities, and so is Pansy. She is a Slytherin, after all, and I have no doubt she too is very ambitious, especially in the books. I've always imagined her to be quite intelligent, which Percy would love. I think they're both sly and traditional as well. Percy avoided confrontation throughout the series, except when it was absolutely needed, and Pansy wanted to avoid the conflict between Hogwarts and Voldemort during the seventh book by turning Harry in. This shows that they value survival and slyness. However, in the end, they both did what they thought was right — Percy joined his family in battle and Pansy hoped to save everyone with the destruction of only one person.

2. They are slightly different in some ways. While both seem quite traditional, Pansy would definitely be more 'with the times.' This would help Percy be less biased and judgmental. Percy is more sensible than Pansy, so he would inspire her to work harder and be more responsible while she would ensure he could still have fun outside of work. I can see them both working in the ministry together — though in very different areas — and thriving.

3. I could see them being in a poly relationship with Audrey, Percy Weasley's canonical wife. I've always seen Pansy as pansexual and quite sexually liberal, and I think she'd consider a poly relationship. Percy may not initially, but I think he would eventually, especially since Pansy is so open-minded. These three would compliment each other well.

4. This ship would be great in Drarry fan-fictions. Also, imagine Pansy in the Weasley family — it'd be so adorable. I still prefer Ginny x Pansy and Ron x Pansy, but this is a nice one.

Anyway, I think this ship deserves way more attention and love.

Rating: 6/10.
