Runa (Ron/Luna)

This is yet another ship I'm conflicted about. It wouldn't be the worst ship in the world, and could even be cute, but it would take a lot of work for them to stay together (and get together in the first place). Ron is very, very different to her — too different — and thinks Luna is crazy. Then again, though, he did learn to accept this towards the end, even seeming incredibly fond of her "bizarre" ways. I loved seeing this development, even if it was meant to be platonic. Also, I swear Luna had a crush on him for a year or so in the books! At his best, Ron is actually quite accepting and very laid-back, so that should help.

I can see them bonding emotionally, especially after the war. Luna has a way of understand emotions and being very perceptive which I think would be great for Ron; I truly think she would brighten his life and help him work through his grief and trauma.

On the more negative side, Luna is a very deep thinker. Ron is smarter than he seems and excels in strategy, but he's not really intellectual or philosophical at all. But, to be fair, Luna is used to that, and she might encourage him to improve this. Also, if he can put up with Hermione's intellect, then this should be fine. They are also both adventurous: Ron, all the time, and Luna when it comes to discovery. I can imagine all the travelling they'd get up to! So, I think I ship it? But I'm not overly concerned about it.
