2023 Opinion
Yes, I definitely ship this, though my opinion is a little more nuanced than that. I know many people dislike it because of the way Draco treated Harry, but to me, it's very different to some relationship dynamics like Dramione. Unlike Dramione, where Draco was just a bully and the wizarding-equivalent of racist, Draco and Harry were rivals. Instead of one having "power" over the other, they are on equal footing. Harry referred to Draco as his 'archenemy' or 'arch-nemesis' on several occasions, which clearly means that he didn't see himself as a victim of Draco's antagonism. Was it a highly toxic relationship? Yes. But was it so bad that they could never fix it? No. Besides, Draco and Harry do reluctantly become friends in the cursed child, so we know it is possible. Admittedly, the toxicity of this pair is part of what makes them so interesting.

Seriously, though, post-war Drarry hits different. The enemies-to-lovers and reluctant friends tropes, combined with their sarcastic and angsty souls, is amazing. I love the idea of them helping each other through a post-war world.

You can't tell me that Harry isn't bisexual. The books really do write him as such, and there are so many scenes that oscillate between both hate and love. Some of the things Harry says about Draco are so gay it's not even funny. They also always seemed drawn to each other in a way neither could explain, even though they both had bigger fish to fry.

Either way, I can't help but love this ship. No joke - I've tried. I am obsessed with this ship. It has all the components of a good ship (in my opinion, obviously): enemies-to-lovers, post-war, hurt/comfort, extreme angst, slow-burn...and more, probably.
