2023 Opinion
I can see why people ship this, and I can even see it happening, it's just not something I actively ship. I don't mind it, though, and would happily read fanfiction involving them. It'd go really well with their backstories and would also help develop Lucius's as we don't know much about his. I think it would be worth exploring. Plus, there's always the forbidden love aspect: Snape might be...involved in certain groups, but he's still half-blood, so Lucius probably couldn't date him (according to his family and the death eaters). I don't think they'd last very long, granted, but they'd be a cute albeit somewhat tragic romance.
