2023 Opinion
Hm. I have always had mixed feelings about this ship. I ship it more than Hinny, that's for sure, but it's not an OTP or anything close to it. Maybe it's because I don't like Ron all that much (he's a great character, I just don't vibe with him), or just because J.K didn't flesh their relationship out enough. It was always very obvious that they would get together and they are definitely cute together, I'm just not sure if it would last. Then again, their relationship formed over the course of the books and you can really see that throughout them all. Plus, Ron would balance out Hermione's uptight, stressed, and busy personality while Hermione would encourage Ron to work harder and think more deeply about things. Eh, still not sure, to be honest, but I think I would still say that I ship it as much as I did before.
