2023 opinion
Maybe? I can never decide on how much I ship this. I definitely ship it at least a little bit (it's hard not to). Obviously, the biggest con is that their relationship is purely platonic. I agree with that. There's no getting around it. However, I do believe it could potentially transform into a romantic one. Harry and Ron had their issues, but Ron was Harry's main person. Unlike with Hermione, he never got sick of being around him, which is promising.
They would be adorable in some circumstances, though it's not a fave ship. As much as I like Drarry, I have to admit that realistically, if Harry fell for any dude, it'd be Ron. Their connection is the sweetest and I'd love to see more of it in fanfiction, whether romantic or platonic.
