Hmm...yes! This is my next generation OTP! I'm sorry, but how can you not ship this wonderfully beautiful pair? They act so gay for each other in the cursed child. And now their ship has been confirmed as canon! Scorbus is officially a canon ship! I love that this is yet another variation of the forbidden love trope and the nuance and rivalry around their families is amazing! Yes, it's overdone. No, in this case I don't care. It's even better because there's all those tropes plus friends-to-lovers. As for their actual personalities...they really do go well together. Both are nerdy outcasts with a great sense of humour, bookish tendencies, and similar values. Not to mention that they can relate to each other better than anyone else (family issues, public scrutiny, etc). Ahh, I just love this ship!
