2023 opinion
I actually don't mind this ship. I don't really ship it, but I think it deserves more credit. Pansy may make Harry somewhat uncomfortable — she seems quite confident and a little too snarky for him. Then again, so is Ginny. I don't have too much to say about this one, other than that it could go either way and is not something I have too many feelings about. I would definitely read more fanfiction about these two though!
