Three maids help me get ready doing my hair and makeup before helping me into my dress which is beautiful. Finishing with earrings, a necklace and a beautiful crown. "You look stunning." I turn beaming "Koa, you made it." He chuckles "You really think I was going to miss your wedding?" I grin hugging him gently "You look nice. You actually washed." he snorts "Ha ha. Very funny."
I thank the three maids and they take their leave "Garren and Lyan are here as well. There is quite the group assembled. Gandalf, Lord Elrond, Lady Galadriel." I laugh sitting down on the nearest chair "I'm a little nervous." Koa laughs kneeling in front of me "Y/N L/N you are the bravest elf I know. You look incredible and you are going to walk into that room and marry the man you very clearly love and spend the rest of eternity with the happiness you deserve."
I squeeze his hands gently smiling "You really are the best frie... brother I could have asked for." he grins standing "Come on your majesty don't want to keep your husband to be waiting." He pulls me to my feet looping my arm through his. We reach the doors to the outdoor pavillion where two guards are waiting. Koa squeezes my arm gently pressing a gentle kiss to my cheek "Love you N/N." I grin "Love you too Koa." he steps away and a maid hands me my bouquet. I nod to the guards and take a deep breath as the doors swing open soft music filtering through.
Thranduil is stood at the far end of the aisle a soft smile gracing his features as I step forward. Every chair is full, petals littering the floor, lanterns hanging in the trees, its stunning. I focus on Thranduil relaxing instantly when my eyes meet his. When I reach the front a maid curtseys and takes my bouqet before Thranduil holds out his hand taking mine gently whisper next to my ear "You look breathtaking my love."
The music fades away and the elf officiating motions for everyone to sit back down. "Ladies & Gentlemen we are gathered here today to witness the union of two families. King Thranduil of the woodland realm and Princess Y/N of Alqualonde. Please be seated." Thranduil takes both my hands in his while the officiator begins the vows the two of us repeating his words and exchanging rings. The whole time my eyes don't leave his so much warmth and love contained in them. "You may kiss the bride."
Thranduil leans closer grinning "I love you." I return his smile before his lips press against mine "I love you too." the room erupts into applause. Thranduil wraps an arm around my waist his forhead reasting against mine "For eternity my dear." I grin "For eternity." Turning to face the rest of the room Koa is the first to approach bowing low "Your majesty an honour." I laugh and he turns to Thranduil "Your majesty, you both look incredibly happy. I wish you both the best." Thranduil smiles softly offering Koa a hand which he shakes "I'm glad she found you. You keep my sister safe." Thranduil smiles glancing back at me "Believe me I hope to never leave her side."
Koa grins giving me a hug "I'll let you greet the rest of your guests." He leaves instantly replaced by some many lords, ladies, royal advisors and soldiers I am slightly overwealmed but Thranduil remains steady by my side. Suppose I need to get used to the royal court again.
We finally have a moment to ourselves and Thranduil hands me a drink brushing a strand of hair away from my eyes "How did I get so lucky?" I blush leaning into his hand "I am the lucky one my love." he smiles kissing me gently "Would you like too dance?" I smile putting down my empty glass taking his outstretched hand "I would love too."
