an awkward silence surrounded them. taehyung knew he was going to cry soon.
taehyung: Jen, can you show me the restroom???
Jennie led him to the washroom. he went in and locked the door. he held the basin for support. he was so overwhelmed that he could faint any second. he sat on the closed toilet seat and held his head in his hands. tears started streaming. they wouldn't stop. every single moment that he had spent with jungkook, he was reminded of it all. he could see them then he could see jungkook happily living with ji-eun. it hurt him. it hurt the core of his heart. he wanted to be there, married to jungkook. but fate was not on his side. he let his tears out. usually, when he remembered jungkook, he would try to suffocate his feelings. he would not let them out. but after seeing him, he couldn't keep it inside.
he then realized he was not in his bedroom, he was in jungkook's house... he got up and went in front of the mirror. he wiped the tears and splashed some water on his face. then he applied some makeup so he wouldn't look like he cried. and then opened the door and went outside. Jennie was sitting on the couch scrolling through her phone while he could see ji-eun and jungkook talking about something in the kitchen. they both were looking serious. he started looking around the house. there were a lot of photo frames.
his eyes fell on jungkook and ji-eun's wedding photo. they both looked so happy
