Taehyung's pov

I was overthinking everything that has been happening, hardly paying attention to what the professor was teaching. I was lost in my thoughts when a 'ding' sound came from my phone. I checked my phone to see it was a message from jungkook. I was shocked but happy. he had stopped sending messages to me. 

koo🥺:

hey
listen, are you free today after college?
I'll pick you up.

I squealed reading the message. he was going to pick me up. this was like the jungkook I knew. this was my jungkook. I quickly texted back.

bun 👻:

yeah
I am free.
I'll wait for you at the gate.
LOVE YOU😘😘 

koo 🥺:

Love you too 😘

OH MY FUCKING GOD!!! HE HAD SAID I LOVE YOU AFTER SO MANY DAYS!!! I FELT AS IF I COULD FINALLY BREATHE AGAIN AFTER SUFFOCATING FOR MANY DAYS.

the bell rang and the last period was over. I got up from my seat and ran out towards the gate before anyone could talk to me. I reached the gate and saw a black mercedes benz waiting. I opened the door and sat inside, smiling at jungkook. he looked at me and smiled.

Taehyung: so, why suddenly you wanted to pick me up?

Jungkook: we are going somewhere.

I looked at him. he was wearing a fancy suit, looking very handsome.

me: where?

Jungkook: I need to discuss something very important with you. it is going to change both of our lives forever.

saying this, he started driving. meanwhile, my mood changed from happy to sad, worried. he wanted to tell me something that would change our lives? did he... did he want to break up with me? was that why he wanted to talk to me? no, no, no... this could not happen.

I started spiralling inside my head, thinking about all the bad possibilities. I was having a silent panic attack. I was normal on the outside but my head started getting dizzy, Irregular heartbeats... I tried to take a few deep breaths.

I had managed to stop my panic attack but was still really fragile and would start crying any moment. a tears had already slipped my cheek. Jungkook stopped the car a few minutes later, turning towards me. I was looking outside the window, trying to control my breathing.

he looked at me worriedly and asked.

jungkook: are you okay? Tae?

and that was my limit. I broke down. my breathes started getting irregular again, heartbeats increased, tears started streaming down my face, sobs started escaping my mouth. jungkook quickly removed his seatbelt and wrapped his arms around me, hiding me in his embrace. he made me control my breathing. then he took out my pills from is bag and made me take it. he sighed in relief after I calmed down.

Jungkook: now, can you tell me what happened? why did you get an attack out of nowhere?

me: I-I... I thought you were going to leave me!!! p-please don't l-leave me! I won't be able t-to l-live without you.

Jungkook: Tae!!!! who told you I was leaving you? wait. first, calm down. stop crying. we'll have this conversation later. take a deep breathe for me right now. you are fine tae. you are okay. I am here with you. I am not leaving you. I am here. with you. with you.

I calmed down, stopped crying. 

jungkook: now, tell me. why did you think I am leaving you?

taehyung: you are avoiding me. you won't talk with me. you are in office 24/7. you won't eat with me. you don't make love to me. what am I supposed to think? I thought you brought me here to break up with me. that you fell in love with someone else. please don't leave me. you can love someone else. be w-with them. l-love them. b-but please, s-stay in my l-life. I won't be able t-to b-bear the p-pain.

jungkook hugged me tightly and kissed my temple.

Jungkook: I am not leaving you. I am not in love with someone else. I still love you very much and will continue till I die. I'll tell you everything. why I behaved with you like that. but later. right now, can you push your doubts away and come with me? I have a surprise for you.

TAehyung: o-okay.

Jungkook wiped my tears and kissed my passionately. the kiss was enough. it was enough to wash away my doubts and reassure me that we were together for life. then he got down from the car and opened the door for me. he lent me a hand which I gladly accepted. He led me somewhere. I saw the name and smiled. it was 'The Marble Bistro'. 

we both entered through the main door. there was complete darkness inside.

me: why is there no light? is the restaurant closed? don't tell me we are breaking in restaurants now, koo.

I heard a faint giggle.

Jungkook: yes babe, I got bored of being a CEO so now we are going to break in restaurants now for a living.

I laughed and hit his chest. suddenly he left my hand and disappeared somewhere. I could not see anything in the pitch darkness.

me: koo? where are you? koo, this is not funny. where are you?

suddenly,
