swear on love

when Jungkook came back sometime later with the milk, he was shocked. he saw taehyung packing some bags.

Jungkook: what are you doing?

taehyung: I'm packing my bag.

jungkook: why? where are you going?

taehyung: I'm leaving.

jungkook: where? why? what happened? where are you going?

taehyung took a deep breath and answered.

taehyung: jungkook.

jungkook(mind): jungkook? that name is hurting me. why isn't he calling me koo?

taehyung: jungkook.. let's break up.

SPLASH!!! the carton of milk fell from jungkook's hand and broke spilling all the milk. but he didn't care. the only thing he cared about was that taehyung had just said they should break up.

jungkook: w-why? have I done something? are you angry at me? what have I done? tell me.

taehyung: you have done nothing.

jungkook: t-then why? do you think I cheated...? I swear to god, I swear on you I'm loyal to you. I have not touched another person. 

taehyung: I trust you. I know you won't cheat on me.

jungkook: then why? what have I done? have I done something stupid to make you angry? hit me. slap me. burn my hands. do anything to me... j-just don't break up with me.

jungkook broke down. he sat on his knees. he could not believe taehyung wanted to break up with him.

jungkook: t-tell me... tell me what I h-have done. punish me, hit me, slap me... just stay. tell me what have I done? 

taehyung: you have done nothing Jungkook. it's not you, it's me.

jungkook was sobbing at this point. he knelt in front of taehyung and held taehyung's feet.

jungkook: pl-please stay. do-don't go. I beg you. I beg you. please stay.

taehyung tried to remove his hands but in vain.

taehyung: please don't make this harder for me. please don't beg me. p-please.

taehyung's voice quivered. jungkook shook his head violently and held his legs tighter.

jungkook: I beg you... please don't leave me alone. I can't live without you.

taehyung: jeon jungkook. don't make me swear on our love.

Jungkook froze. he moved back a little looking at taehyung with wide eyes. taehyung's eyes were glossy like he would cry but his face was stoic.

jungkook: I can't fucking live without you. please don't go.

taehyung: jeon jungkook. if you loved me... if you ever loved me, even just for a moment, just a bit, if you ever cared about me, let me go in peace. don't fight it. if our love was true, don't fight it. I swear you on our love.

jungkook gasped. taehyung had just sworn on their love. there was nothing but love in jungkook's heart for him. he could not argue with taehyung anymore.. it would be a disrespect to love. he stopped and took a step back. he got up, still crying, and went to sit on the bed. 

jungkook: g-go. I h-hope you'll b-be h-happy after t-this

taehyung went and finished packing his bag. jungkook was looking at him the whole time while sobbing. trying to imprint the image of his love's last moments on his mind. taehyung quietly took his stuff and left closing the door. before leaving, he looked at jungkook one last time and left.
