a façade

They got up and did their morning routine. Jungkook couldn't believe he was with taehyung again. it was like all his dreams had come true. after getting ready, they went to the living room to see Jimin and yoongi sitting at the dining table, eating. 

taehyung: hey jiminie, hey yoonie. I'm surprised jiminie can walk after last night.

Jimin glared at him while blushing.

Jimin: we didn't do anything last night.

yoongi: you both kind of ruined the mood. so we went straight to sleep.

suddenly taehyung's phone rang. he excused himself to pick it up. meanwhile, Jimin looked at Jungkook with a grateful look.

Jimin: thank you, kook.

Jungkook: for what?

Jimin: for Bringing my best friend back. the one who actually smiles.

Jungkook: what do you mean?

Jimin: he smiled genuinely last night after years.

Jungkook: but he is always smiling and all bubbly.

Jimin looked at him with a sad smile and said softly.

Jimin: he is a great actor.

Jungkook: he can't act that much. I met him two weeks ago and since then, he is constantly smiling except for a few emotional moments.

Jimin: those are not real. I've known his lifestyle for years now. at first, he used to be all gloomy, depressed, etc... then suddenly out of nowhere, in one night... he became this super happy bubbly boy. someone insulted him, he didn't care just smiled at them. he suddenly out of nowhere decided to accept psychiatric help. out of nowhere, he was happy with his life. all of sudden, your name didn't affect him. he smiled listening to your name, and said you were in the past. that was not the taehyung I knew.

yoongi: but we knew. we knew it was all a façade.

Jungkook: so the smiles, his bubbly nature, it is all fake?

Jimin: he just doesn't want us to be worried and hurt because of his bad mental health. besides, do you think, a happy person tries to harm himself?

Jungkook's eyes were teary and tears had started to fall.

Jungkook: I am going to help him get better. I don't care how... this is happening.

suddenly taehyung came and his smile fell and his face turned worried seeing Jungkook crying.

taehyung: koo, are you okay? what happened, baby??

Jungkook: it's nothing. don't worry.

taehyung: no, tell me. what happened?

Jungkook: I am just really overwhelmed that you are finally with me again. I love you.

taehyung: I love you too.

Jungkook: do you have time today? I wanted to spend some time with you.

taehyung: of course.

Jungkook: let's go to my house. I want to show you something.

taehyung: okay...

they got ready and went to Jungkook's house. they opened the door to find no one in the house. Jennie had gone to her friend's place while ji-eun was out with her friends.

taehyung: so... what did you want to show...
