surprise

and suddenly,

SURPRISE!!!!!

the lights were switched on. I gasped. everyone was there. ji-eun, jennie, jong-suk, jisoo, rose, lisa, anne, jimin, yoongi, namjoon, jin, hoseok, hyungsik, bogum, everyone. then I looked around. the whole restaurant was decorated beautifully. there were flowers everywhere. I took a closer look and gasped again. they were all baby's breaths. there were balloons, ribbons. the whole restaurant was looking magnificent.

but where was jungkook? and why had this all been arranged. suddenly, jungkook came from behind jimin and yoongi, holding his hand behind his back. he came and stood in front of me, looking straight in my eyes making me weak in my knees. he took out a bouquet of baby's breath from behind his back and gave it to me. I took it and sniffed it with a fond smile.

Taehyung: koo? what is all this?

jungkook: I have something for you.

I looked at him questioningly. he smiled and went somewhere. he came back a few seconds later with someone I couldn't believe was there. I gasped loudly.

me: GRANDMA!!!! 

I ran to her and hugged her as tightly as I could. I was seeing her in real life after 5 years. tears gathered in my eyes.

grandma: how is my buttercup?

me: I'm amazing. I'm fabulous. I missed you so much, Grandma.

grandma: me too baby. me too.

after hugging her for a few minutes and not letting go, we separated. I looked at jungkook. he smiled and said again.

Jungkook: I have a surprise for you.

I was confused. I frowned.

Taehyung: this was not the main surprise?

he shook his head and motioned me to look behind him. I turned around and was shocked. I looked back at jungkook who nodded at me with tears in his eyes. I broke down. Jungkook's parents were standing there, in front of me. Jungkook helped me get up and I went and stood in front of him.

me: mr. and mrs. jeon...

mr. jeon: Call me Dad.

tears were streaming non-stop from my eyes. Mrs. Jeon put her hand on my shoulder and pulled me closer. I hugged her. it felt so good. so safe. like a mother's embrace. 

mr. jeon: you are good for my son. you keep him happy. I accept you guys.

after the whole reunion and crying for about half an hour about the fact that jungkook's parents had finally accepted our love, I went and hugged jungkook tightly. I was so happy. 

Taehyung: I am so happy koo. this was the best surprise ever.

jungkook: this was not the main surprise. the main surprise is yet to be given.

Taehyung: geez... what all have you planned? I am going to have a cardiac arrest if this keeps going on.

jungkook: well then, I have to do this before you die. 

he got down on one knee and pulled out a ring. a fucking diamond ring!!!!!

jungkook: the first time we met was 6 years ago. we were really young and immature at that time. I was a young careless idiot. yet, somehow... you fell for me... you were so beautiful and graceful at that time that I couldn't help falling for you too. I fell hard for you too. every minute we spent together, every second we spend together has been heaven for me. and right now, at this moment... I am not physically capable of living without you. I love you with all my heart and mind and all of my soul. I want to love you till we both grow old. I want to grow old with you. I want us to be that old couple that children admire. I want us to be the couple about whom children say 'see... that is the kind of love I want. I want to fall in love like that. I want to spend my life like those grandpas' I want to be with you when your teeth fall off and your skin gets wrinkled. I want to tell you that you are the most gorgeous person even then. I want to cherish you till death do us apart. so,  Kim Taehyung, will you marry me?

I nodded with tears in my eyes.

Taehyung: yes... I love you so much. yes, I'll marry you.

he slid the ring on my second finger and kissed my knuckle. I then threw myself on him and sobbed happy tears in his embrace. he then pulled me close and attached our lips. we kissed passionately. the kiss was so soft and full of emotions.
