they both walked into the office together and all the employees bowed to them. they went to their cabins and started working.
at 11 am, they had a meeting with their latest client. Ji-eun had no idea who the client was. She went into the conference hall at 11 to see jungkook talking with three men who were sitting with their backs to her face. seeing her jungkook got up and motioned them to look at her. ji-eun bowed to them and when she looked up, her world shattered.
lee jong-suk was sitting in front of her. and he was looking at her with some emotion she couldn't understand. She was a psychologist so she should have been able to read that emotion but for some reason, she couldn't

ji-eun: hello gentlemen.
she came in and sat down next to jungkook. he started discussing the terms of their contract but the only thing she could focus on was the man sitting in front of her. lee jong-suk. seeing him brought back lots of memories she had locked when she found out she was pregnant with jennie.
ji-eun and Jong-suk kept looking at each other. ji-eun was about to tear so she excused herself saying she and forgot some files. she left the conference room and went directly to the washroom. She locked the door and leaned against the wall.
her heartbeats had increased and her blood pressure shooting through the roof. she had started trembling and sweating. She had shortness of breath and couldn't breathe properly. her head had started aching and she couldn't control what was happening to her. She was having a panic attack. she sat down on the floor, tears streaming down her face and whimpers escaping her mouth.
she grabbed her purse and tried to find something with her blur eyesight to the panic attack. she got an orange bottle and took 2 tablets of SSRI from it. it was a medication to calm down panic attacks.
she took deep breaths and did her routine for panic attacks. she finally calmed down. She got up, washed her face with cold water, and looked in the mirror. strained eyes, red nose. This was not good. she applied a touch of makeup to look normal. she put a huge smile on and looked in the mirror.
ji-eun: nah. this is too fake.
she lessened the smile so that it looked natural. then she took a deep breath and opened the door, stepping outside. she went back to the conference room still carrying the smile. she went in and sat down, still maintaining the smile.
they discussed the deal and decided that lee jong-suk would immediately start working with them. after the meeting, jungkook's assistant led Jong-suk and his men somewhere.
jungkook: you okay, eunnie?
ji-eun: what game are you playing kook?
jungkook: it's not a game.
ji-eun: then why did you call him?
jungkook: you very well know why. you deserve a happy ending.
ji-eun: I don't want my happy ending!!! I just want to live without crying and stressing myself out! and maybe we are not meant to be. otherwise, we wouldn't be separated.
