Jungkook's pov

I was happy after hearing Jennie has a boyfriend. but when I saw it was bun- I mean taehyung, something inside me cracked... but I had to put a poker face on and deal with it... Jennie likes him... and I don't want to be the parent who will make their children break up...

TAEHYUNG'S POV

a few minutes later, ji-eun came and invited both of them for dinner. Jennie and taehyung sat beside each other while ji-eun and jungkook sat in front of them. seulgi was sitting on the corner.
their sitting arrangement:

so Jennie was sitting in front of ji-eun and jungkook was sitting in front of taehyung. ji-eun served them food and everybody started eating. 

ji-eun: so, taehyung... what do you plan on doing after finishing college???

Taehyung: I'm gonna do a master's in art and I've written to a few authors for an internship, few of them have replied, and few are yet.

seulgi: you like writing? like books?

taehyung: yeah... I want to become an author.

seulgi: I have a friend in the industry. I can recommend you to her if you want.

taehyung: thank you for the offer but I want to get success in my talent. Your recommending me would help but I want to get a job based on my efforts. I would think I don't deserve the opportunity if I get it because someone I know recommended me.

jungkook(mind): he is still the same... self-made. would never accept anyone's help.

jungkook quietly chuckled thinking this. jungkook moved his leg a little to make it more comfortable but his leg accidentally touched taehyung's.they both felt an electric spark go between them. they looked at each other. looking into each other's eyes did something to both of their hearts. they immediately looked away.

then the rest of dinner went in silence except for seulgi and ji-eun asking a taehyung a few questions and him answering them. after dinner, all of them went to the living room. seulgi had prepared a dessert and was going to bring it. ji-eun went to help her. taehyung and Jennie were sitting on one side of the couch in comfortable silence while jungkook was sitting on the other side of the room scrolling through his phone. taehyung looked at him. jungkook was looking so beautiful. taehyung wanted to touch him, hold him... but he couldn't. he took out a diary from his bag and wrote:

you felt like the wildest dream
sitting right across the room from me,
 yet farther away
from my wretched hands.

ji-eun and seulgi came back with the dessert and called taehyung but taehyung was busty writing this... he didn't hear them. he was too focused on writing the quote.

ji-eun: what is he writing???

Jennie: probably the short poems he always writes.

seulgi: what does he write?

Jennie: the deepest poems I've ever heard.

seulgi: taehyung...

taehyung came back to reality.

taehyung: yeah???

seulgi: can you read one of your poems??? what do you write about in the poems???

taehyung: the poems are like a reflection of me... I write what I feel, how I am, my fears, etc. I can read a few that are not too personal.

ji-eun: great!!! we would love to hear the poems!!! besides, jungkook is a fan of deep poetry, aren't you jungkook???

jungkook: uhh-yeah.

taehyung: I wrote this one when one of my friends was bullied for not having perfect skin
