"What do you want to talk about?" Kim asked as soon as they got out of the salon.

"Let's talk over coffee," He said, moving closer.

"Fine!" She said, stepping backwards, "Over coffee" she added, Miran nodded and watched past him, he followed right after, sticking by her side.

Minutes later, Kim arrived at a coffee shop down the street.

"What can I get you?" The lady asked, Kim looked at Miran and his blank expression made her confused.

"Umm, two Cappuccinos, please" she replied.

"Alright, coming right up!" The lady said.

Kim breathed and found an empty sit, making her way to it, Miran followed behind her without a word, he sat parallel to her.

"You look good," He said. Kim looked at him and a faint smile shook her lips.

"You too," she said quickly stealing a glance at him, he did look good and smelt it.

"Is there anything I can help you with?" A lady asked from behind, Kim looked back and shook her head, but she came closer towards Miran. "Do you need a menu?" She said, ignoring Kim.

He had always been the centre of attraction wherever they went, of course, he smelt elegant and rich.

"I said no!" Kim sighed, heavily glaring at her.

The lady's gaze turned to Kim. "Oh, I'm sorry," the lady said, stepping backwards. Kim glanced around and everyone was staring at her, she lowered her head filled with frustration.

"Two cups of cappuccinos," a lady said in a low tone as she walked toward them.

"Thank you," Kim said, avoiding Miran's gaze, what just happened? She clenched her jaws tightly.

"No tienes que preocuparte, ella no te odia" He said, Kim looked at him, and he picked up his cup of coffee, she sighed and remembered Miran doesn't take coffee. (You don't have to worry, she doesn't hate you).

"You shouldn't take what isn't good for you," Kim said.

"You ordered it, didn't you?" He dropped the cup with a smile.

She rolled her eyes and when she realized what she had just done, she looked at Miran, and his eyes held her, he wasn't saying anything or even reacting, but his wanton gaze made Kim gulp nervously. Even after their break up, Miran still affected her. She itched her forehead, looking away.

"Come with me to Elsa's wedding" Miran spat, Kim shifted her gaze to him. The amount of confidence this man had she wasn't able to explain.

"What?" She chuckled.

"Aisha asked me to invite you," He continued without hesitation.

"Hold on!" Kim raised her hand, giving a stop sign. "You came here to ask me that?" She asked, what was she expecting anyways? A love letter?

"No, that's an excuse, Kimimela," He replied.

Kim fell silent, she had no idea why that sounded better to her, what was she expecting from a man who she wouldn't give her heart to, Miran was too good to be true.

She cleared her throat, "I already have plans"

"I haven't even told you the date," he said, her jaw clenched, why didn't she think about that? "June 5th" He replied.

"I can't Miran, I have to be in"

"Africa? We can sort that out" he said and leaned closer, grabbing his coffee.

"That's my work, I can't do anything about that" she replied.

"I will talk to the owner,"

"No! We broke up, did you forget?" She said in a high tone, Miran nodded.

"So you don't want to come with me?" He asked, she sighed and looked away.

"No," she breathed, "you didn't tell them did you?" She questioned.

"It isn't their business," he replied, Kim's hands folded in a fist, how she wished she could slap him, he was unbelievable and cute, and she wanted to smile at him.

"What was that about?" She asked, tilting her head at him.

"What?" Miran questioned, confused.

"That letter and flower, dinner?" She mimicked his tone, his face brightened at her imitation.

"It was a mistake-" Kim interrupted.

"Oh, so you wrote, dinner with flowers and called it a mistake?" Kim attacked, and Miran fell silent staring at her. His eyes went warm and tender while he watched her.

"When you act like this, it gives me a different feeling," He said, softly. "And yes, I was going to send it with a time and date, 'cause I want you, Kimimela and I would use any excuse to make you mine, again" he finished.

"So it isn't a wedding?" She managed to say, Miran glanced around and then his gaze fell on her.

"I won't touch you, except you want me to," He replied, "Except you want to be my wife," He clarified, Kim sat stunned, she needed to say something or react, Miran had a way of making her speechless.

"I should go," she said and grabbed her purse.

"Kim," He got up along with her.

"I would think about it," She said, as she could tell he wanted an answer.

"Give me a call, when you're ready," He replied. She gazed up and down at him and nodded, making her way to the door, as soon as she pushed the door open, Tony stood beside his car waiting for him.

"Miss Cortes," he whispered, Kim looked at his head to toe and managed a smile at him.

"Tony," she blinked, the door opened and Miran stepped out, Kim looked back at Miran.

"Let me take home" he offered, Kim smiled, he wasn't even the one driving and offered her a ride.

"I have to go to Ava," She said, and paused, "Oh, thank you for... Um" she itched her head, as she tried to remember.

"For what?" He asked, impatiently.

"For helping us with Jackson's case, I should have thanked you in person," she said, lowering her gaze to the floor.

Miran looked at Tony and bowed slightly, and made his way into the car.

"Ahh, Jackson?" He sighed heavily, Kim raised her gaze to him and he smiled and nodded, subconsciously. "De nada" (You're welcome).
