"Miss Cortes? Miss Cruz?" Tony said as they opened that black Benz for them, Ava didn't hesitate and got in.

"And Miran?"

"Mr Mayer would be with you in Dubai, he has some meetings to cover" Tony replied, Kim, nodded slightly and proceeded to enter the car. The door closed as soon as she got in and in seconds the engine started.

They arrived at the airport. Ava and Kim got down.

"Thanks," Ava said and smiled at Kim, the men that had followed them, who took their luggage and headed to their plane. "This, I can't believe this is happening" Ava whispered excitedly.

"There's a lot more" She replied with a smile, and held Ava's hand.

"A lot more? like what?" Her voice shook with happiness. But Kim fell silent and walked beside her.

Tony led them through checkout and security check before they walked towards the plane parked at the runway. Kim smiled as soon as she saw the plane, the beauty she had missed. She looked at Ava and her jaw dropped her eyes popped out as she stared at the beauty in front of her. "Mayer" was written on it.

"Whoa." She let out, Kim giggled and leaned towards her.

"You love it?" Kim asked, shrugging.

"This is the airline? Girl!" Ava walked even closer to it, her eyes widened with each step and she couldn't get words out of her mouth.

"Yeah, it is. Welcome to Miran's world," Kim praised a little proud.

"Welcome, Miss Cortes" a lady greeted as they walked in, Kim looked at her and managed a smile, she wasn't the person she knew. "Welcome, Miss Cruz" She turned to Ava.

"Huh?" Ava looked stunned at her, how did she know her surname? She looked at Kim for an explanation.

"It's Miran" She spat. Ava nodded and followed her in.

Ava found herself a seat and the moment she sat she moaned out loud, shutting her eyes. "This is so good!" She praised.

"Is there anything you would like, Miss Cortes?" The lady asked, Kim looked at Ava.

"A bottle of champagne," she said.

"Alright," she turned to leave but stopped at the sound of Ava's voice.

"And water too!" Ava sat up and said.

As soon as she left, Ava rushed towards Kim and sat beside her, her eyes dancing around her as she searched for something. Confused, Kim moved back and only followed, seeing her behaviour Kim could tell she had a lot to say and sighed.

"What is it, Ava?" She asked.

"Why did you leave him? Tell me. Does the wealth scare you?" She asked, Kim, chuckled and rolled her eyes.

"Ava," she called but the footsteps interrupted.

"Here's your water and bottle of champagne," she said, Ava got up and took the small tray from her.

"Thank you," She said.

They both watched her leave, and the minute she was out of their sight, Ava's gaze shifted to her.

"So what is it?" She questioned.

"I have no idea, Ava" She sighed heavily and paused, looking at her. "He asked me to marry him out of the blue, meanwhile, there's Fatima-"

"Don't bring her into this, you know she had nothing to do with it"

"It's not his wealth, the proposal came as a shock, and you know how I see marriage, I don't want to believe he is different," She said and finished with a faint smile.

"Different, of course, he is different, this man would fly the world to be with you, Kim. This is not your father okay?" Ava said. "And someday if they ever get to meet, don't let that bother you," She continued.

HOURS LATER.

They arrived at Dubai and as they got down, a car waited for them, while Tony, walked them towards it.

Ava got down and took a deep breath inhaling the fresh air, as she continued down the stairs.

"That was the most comfortable ride I have ever had," Ava said, Kim looked at her and suddenly, remembered the first time. She chuckled.

As soon as the car was out of the airport and in the streets, Ava couldn't help but stare through the window and her eyes lit with happiness.

"This is Dubai?" Ava asked.

"Of course, you're in Dubai, baby." She said and smirked.

"It's beautiful, My God, Kim!" She said with excitement.

Kim groaned and leaned back on the chair, this was now a common thing for her, she remembered how shocked she was when she flew to Dubai with Miran the first time, and now she wasn't even surprised. "The flight was really comfortable," Kim said. "But then, it was still freaking long..."

"Right? My back is killing me." Ava said, and leaned, turning towards her.

"You do feel tired right?" She asked, as Miran never felt tired after a flight, yet he expected her to go shopping.

"I do," she rested her head against the headrest, "but I think seeing the standard of this place, I would need more clothes," Ava said, Kim blinked frustratedly, looking at the other side.

Suddenly, Miran's words began to play in her head, Kim shut her eyes and lay there, recalling every detail. She missed him and coming to Dubai only triggered her feelings for him.

"_Miran?_"

"_When you're mine, you look like mine_"

"_I'm not getting much. If anything, I'll get the clothes that your tradition wears. Yes, I want that_."

"_As long as it's fancy and says Miran Mayer everywhere_."

Kim's laugh faded.

The door opened, and Kim stepped with Ava by her side. "Mr Mayer, is still not available, but he said he would meet you at the party tonight," Tony said, Kim looked at the building they had stopped at, it was a skyscraper and it wasn't Mayer's building. "Miss Saeed arranged this for you," He said.

"Miss Saeed?" She asked confused, Tony lowered his gaze and raised them slowly.

"Aisha" he replied, Kim nodded gently, she had never even asked her surname before.

"Thank you," she smiled, and he directed her into the building.

"We need to go shopping," Ava said.

"Let's take a nap first, and then prepare for the party tonight," Kim said as they walked into the elevator.
