You and Xesh stand before eachother. The battlefield is now level. You have to figure out a way to defeat your own ability.
RHT: (How am I supposed to defeat someone equal in power to me? I have to figure something out.) *WHOOSH* XSH: You're slow.
Xesh appears in front of you and uses his tentacles to immobilize your body, making you unable to use your own purgatory. Electricity crackles around Xeshs' arm. He thrusts it through your chest and grabs your soul. He holds it in front of you.
XSH: Is this all you got? RHT: *cough* Tsk, you pesky bastard. XSH: Say farewell. *CRUSH*
Xesh crushes your soul into pieces. Your body drops to the ground, lifeless. Xesh brushes your blood off his jacket and walks towards the cart.
XSH: What a joke of an opponent. *CORRECT* XSH: Hmm..? *STEP* RHT: Your ability is an anomaly. XSH: You're alive..? Fun. RHT: It isn't a derivative of your soul trait, is it? XSH: What are you getting at? RHT: You weren't raised by parents. No... you were a lab experiment. That explains your ability and expressions. Am I right, lab rat?
Xeshs' expression shifts into a more annoyed look. He sets his arms ablaze and gets ready to fight. You pick up your blade and dash towards your opponent. Xesh dodges and moves behind. You stop your movement and swiftly turn around, swinging your blade and injuring Xesh across the chest. He backs up.
RHT: Your speed is lacking. What happened? XSH: (Tsk, what is happening to me?)
Xesh sways his hand forward. Nothing happens.
XSH: (What?! Why can't I use her soularia?) RHT: You're wondering why you can't use my tentacles anymore. It's simple. You being able to use it was a mistake in the first place, so I corrected it. XSH: It doesn't matter. I'll win using this, no matter what. Master Loyd, I'm sorry.

Xesh grabs his pistol from the ground and aims it at you. An immense amount of energy accumulates into the barrel. Xeshs' right eye is glowing. He fires.

In the split second before impact, you switch places with Xesh. The bullet originally meant for you, is now aimed at him. There's no way he survives.
XSH: (Heh, so this is how it ends. I should've known half of a knights' power wouldn't be enough.)
The area is engulfed in a blinding light. After it dissipates, sand rushes in to fill the massive crater. You sheathe your blade and continue walking.
