The dunes get covered by your grey goo. Xesh doesn't flinch. You dash towards Xesh and overwhelm him.
RHT: Try to defend this!
XSH: Initiate.
You swing your blades furiously. Xesh just blocks and backs up. You direct tentacles towards him. He summons a lightning sword and cuts them. You lunge towards him and thrust your blade in his leg. He uses ghost step to create distance.
RHT: Why aren't you countering?!
Xesh stays in silence. You slash projectiles towards him. He puts up a water wall and stops them.
RHT: (He is planning something. I have to say vigilant and not be too careless.)
Xesh dashes towards you and swings his lightning sword. You react in time and block. Xesh kicks you in the stomach and follows up with a fireball. You block the fireball with one of your tentacles and get back up. At that time, the cupcake monster approaches from behind. You dodge and get on top of it before thrusting your blade into it and causing an explosion. Its' remains get scattered over the battlefield.
XSH: You've realized my ability but still haven't managed to land a single good hit.
RHT: Tsk, I'm just getting started.
You dash towards Xesh and maneuver swiftly to try and catch him off guard. He follows your movements with pin point accuracy. You use ghost step to close the gap between you two. Xesh summons vines from the ground and holds your feet down.
RHT: Whose ability haven't you copied?!
XSH: Don't worry. I can only copy an ability as strong as my own capabilities. The fight's gone on for too long. It's time to test my strength.
RHT: What?!
Xesh summons a spear out of his hand and aims it. You can't move because of the vines. He throws the spear with precision. At the last moment, you manage to block with your tentacles.
XSH: Heh, you've as good as lost.
Xesh recalls the spear back to his hand with a piece of your tentacles still attached to it.
XSH: Harbinger, care to guess how I copy abilities?
RHT: By sight..?
XSH: Wrong. Now feast your eyes upon the strongest ability to exist.
RHT: Wait! You don't plan on-!
Xesh grabs the tentacle and eats it. You're shocked. He doesn't leave a trace. You look in utter terror.
XSH: I thought It would taste worse.
RHT: Don't tell me...
XSH: Heh, let's see how good you out up against your own abilities. Arise.
Xesh summons his own special purgatory. The stage of the battle has shifted immensely. You have to think of a way to beat him.
