(Chapter 83) Luck.

Komi directs her gun towards Noah, who signals a pause to the fight.

KMI: What now?!
NOA: Wait, lady. I have to take off my coat.
KMI: Ughh, do it quick!

Noah slowly takes off his coat and drops it to the ground. It crashes from all the gold inside it.

KMI: (He's been carrying all that around?!)
NOA: Now I'm ready. Shall we?
KMI: Tsk, get ready for humiliation.

Komi pulls the trigger and fires multiple shots. Noah stands still. The bullets stray off target.

KMI: (Huh?! I missed?! No, there's something wrong!)
NOA: Don't get distracted.

Noah dashes towards Komi and catches her by suprise, delivering a punch to the gut. Komi regains her footing and fires continuously. Noah just approaches without worry.

KMI: (Why are all my shots grazing him?!)
NOA: Figured out my ability yet?

Komi takes out her second gun and fires in short bursts. Noah dashes through the bullets and gets face to face with Komi.

KMI: Get away!

Komi charges her weapon with soul essence and fires a powerful shot. Noah dodges.

NOA: Is that all you have?
KMI: Return to your mother.
NOA: What?

The bullet Komi shot has spiraled back and is directed at Noah, connecting and injuring him.

KMI: I present to you, my homing shot.
NOA: I agree, It's a pretty good move, but sadly for you, It just barely missed me.
KMI: What?!

Noah lifts his shirt, revealing no wounds. He holds out his fist and opens it. The bullet drops to the ground. He caught it.

KMI: You caught my... homing shot.
NOA: Yeah, guess you could say I'm pretty lucky.
KMI: (That's it! Luck!)

Komi realizes Noahs' ability. She fires shots at him, then dashes towards him. Noah dodges the bullets and dusts Komi off.

NOA: You can't hit me.
KMI: I'm not aiming for you.
NOA: What?

Komi moves past Noah and picks up his coat.

KMI: This your prized possession?
NOA: Hey, leave it there!
KMI: Come and get it.

Noah dashes towards Komi, who fires bullets at him. Noah dodges all of them and gets close. Komi throws the coat into the air, before charging up her weapon. Noah panics and jumps into the air, catching the coat. Komi releases fire. Noah is unable to dodge.

KMI: Let's see how far your luck spans.

At the last second before impact, a bird flies in between Noah and the bullet, catching the fire instead of Noah. Komi is suprised.

KMI: Your ability is interesting, Noah.
NOA: Hmm?

Komi walks up to Noah.

KMI: Luck manipulation, isn't it?
NOA: *chuckle* You're a smart one. Your ability is pretty strong too.
KMI: My ability? You haven't seen it yet.
NOA: So you're saving it for the big fight, huh?
KMI: Yeah, you guessed right. Now, are you willing to join forces?
NOA: I don't see why not. I guess Noah Luck can help you fight the harbinger.
KMI: Seriously? Luck is your last name?
NOA: *chuckle* Yeah, it is.

Komi and Noah give eachother a handshake and Noah agrees on joining forces with the troops.
