Despite knowing the power gap between them, Noire clenches her axe tight and stands ready to fight.
GNO: So stubborn.
Geno dashes towards Noire and swings their blade. Noire blocks with her axe and uses ghost step to get behind Geno. She swings her axe. *GLITCH* Noires' axe turns into rubber. She stands shocked at what just happened, not aware of Geno right in front of her. Geno grabs Noires' face and slams her into the ground. Noire turns her arm into a spike and thrusts it towards Geno, who dodges back. Noire stands back up and cleans the dust off of her face. Geno stares at her, expressionless. Noire turns her arm back and clenches her fists. She dashes towards Geno.
GNO: Without a weapon, you are nothing. NOR: I know good fighters who don't use weapons! GNO: Don't compare yourself to Robin, you scum.
Noire throws multiple punches. Geno dodges all of them. She tries to catch Geno off guard but they see this coming and dodge behind Noire.
NOR: (Shit!) *GLITCH*
Genos' blade is covered in blood. Noire falls to her knees, clenching the massive wound on her chest.
NOR: H-how did that connect?! GNO: I missed on purpose so then I could alter reality into a past where my blade went through your body. NOR: That's not a humane power to possess. You don't deserve to hold such an ability. GNO: Not even my [ROOT] compares to the power of the worlds' strongest warriors, the three pillars. NOR: W-what..? You're not among the strongest..? GNO: Precisely. My power pales in comparison to their absolute rule over their souls.
Noire is at a loss of words. Geno stands there, watching Noire with a disappointed look on their face. Suddenly, on her soul appears a small crack.
NOR: (My s-soul... is cracking..? I can't let this happen. I can't give up just yet. I haven't reached my full potential. I haven't regained all my power yet! I'm not an imitation of them, I am the reincarnation, I am the embodiment of hate, Noire!)
Noire pushes herself back up to her feet. Geno looks confused as to why she's still trying.
GNO: You are too weak, Noire. Pitiful, I should say, considering back then you could fight all the knights at once and push them to their limits, but now you're losing to me. NOR: Ah, I understand now. My power... it's slowly coming back to me. Thank you, Geno, for pushing me to my limit. GNO: What are you talking about..? NOR: I would never give up so easily!

Black particles emit from Noires' body. In her hand forms a weapon in the form of a double-sided axe. Geno stares at their opponents transformation but doesn't move a muscle.
