You stare down your opponent, but you can't feel any despair coming from him. Loyd stands filled with justice. This is going to be a tough battle.
RHT: I'm immortal. Might aswell give up.
LYD: Regeneration doesn't mean immortality.
RHT: Oh? Then what does it mea-
*BANG*
In the moment it took you to blink, Loyd had already drawn his revolver and blasted a bullet through your soul, instantly cracking it.
*CORRECT*
RHT: As I told you, you can't kill me.
LYD: Shut up already.
*BANG*
This time you know where Loyd is going to fire, so you anticipate and dodge. To your suprise, he still fired right through your heart, cracking it instantly.
*CORRECT*
RHT: (What..? How did he hit me? He shot more to the left the first time! He can't change what has already happened... can he?)
LYD: Could it be that you're scared?
RHT: Tsk, that was just a fluke. (This time I will for sure dodge his shots!)
Loyd draws his revolver and fires. In the hundredth of a second, the bullet reaches your soul. You manage to dodge in time and evade the shot.
RHT: Ha! So it was just a flu-
You weren't prepared for a second bullet. It pierces you and goes right through your soul, cracking it.
*CORRECT*
RHT: (Dammit! Why is he overpowering me?!)
LYD: You sure are irritated for an immortal.
RHT: (This guy is so annoying! Seems like I have to use my soularia earlier then I expected.)
You release both your blades. They sink into the sand and illuminate it black. Loyd doesn't flinch.
RHT: Special Purgatory.
LYD: Scales Release.
RHT: (He activated an ability of his own, but not his soularia although.)
The area gets covered by your soularia. Loyd raises his gun and fires. You block the shot with your tentacles and get ready for the second. It doesn't come. You're confused.
RHT: (Huh? What is this?)
*WHOOSH*
Loyd appears behind you and takes out a dagger. You turn around in time and block his strike. He backs up. You dash towards him and swing relentlessly. Loyd stays still. He observes your movements easily.
RHT: (His eyes... is he really processing all that information in such a short time frame?!)
You swing your blades horizontally. Loyd swiftly dodges under and grabs your arm, before slamming you into the buildings' debris. You regain your power and push yourself back up. Loyd walks slowly towards you. His eyes emit a menacing glow.
