Geno dodges back and avoids a fatal blow from Noire who seemingly came out of nowhere and swung her axe, close to chopping Geno in half.
NOR: Nø wɇȺᵽøns... ħȺnđ ŧø ħȺnđ.
Noire drops her axe to the ground and her hands twitch. Geno takes a deep breath and enhances their focus. This will be a battle of technique.
GNO: (No matter if she's an anomaly. Everything in this world can and will be predicted by me, Geno, the one who will maintain order!)
Geno shifts in and out of reality to get closer to Noire. They suddenly appear behind Noire and think they've got the jump on her, but Noire grabs them by the throat and clenches tight. Geno glitches out of Noires' grip and regulates their breathing.
GNO: (Those are some crazy sharp reflexes... wait, that shouldn't be possible. I reformed once I was too close so there's no way she could have reacted that fast.)
Before Geno can assess the situation, Noire dashes towards them and swings. Geno barely reacts in time to dodge a fatal wound but Noires' claws still scratch their skin.
NOR: Sŧøᵽ ɍᵾnnɨnǥ... ȺwȺɏ.
Noire lunges towards Geno, swaying her claws like a maniac. Geno tries their best to dodge and think about the next move.
GNO: (Seems like they're fused now so I don't have to worry about that pink insect popping out of nowhere, and also... maybe I wasn't noticing it before but... was she always this terrifying? Ugh, must be some kind of trick at work, probably her fear.)
Geno steps onto the ceiling and looks down on Noire. This enrages the beast even more. Noire launches through the ceiling, missing Geno and ravaging into the air. Geno steps on top of the building. Noire crashes down onto it. She gets up and looks fiercely at Geno.
GNO: You may be fast and strong, but you surely lack the brain.
Noire dashes towards Geno and claws through the tiles of the ceiling. Geno vanishes from sight and reappears behind her. Noire reacts perfectly but Geno dodges under the swing and trips Noire on the ground, before grabbing her hair and throwing her against the palace walls.
GNO: (It's just as I thought. She too can look through the fabric of reality and into the world of data, and from what I've observed, she can even open up a rift to it, although unlike me, she can't shift between the two so at least I can use it to escape.)
Geno hears a loud crash in the distance. The entire wall drops to the ground as Noire stands above it. Sweat rolls down Genos' head.
