A battle between two ghouls, one whom just passed and the other whom just awakened. The realm is silent, watching, waiting for what's unfolding.
CHAR: The infinity realm answers to me.
The world around warps as Charoline sways her hands around. Jess takes offense and dashes forwards. Charoline vanishes from her sight and reappears behind her. Jess turns around and swings her sword. It hits the wall.
JSS: (Huh?! Was this wall always here?! No... something's up. She has the power to manipulate this realm. I have to figure out a plan.)
CHAR: Your thoughts are as clear as your words in the infinity realm. You can't hide anything from me.
JSS: I don't need to.
Jess turns around to move towards Charoline when the ground underneath her disappears. She starts falling down a bottomless pit. Charoline is falling aside her, laughing.
CHAR: So what was that you said about a plan?
JSS: You!
*SWING*
CHAR: Now now.
*WHOOSH*
JSS: So you can also teleport? How am I supposed to fight against this?!
CHAR: Think outside the box? *laugh*
JSS: Outside the box? Think?
CHAR: Hmm?
JSS: Charoline, this fight ends soon... in my victory.
Jess thrusts her sword in the wall and pulls herself towards it. She jumps off the wall at Charoline, swinging her sword mindlessly.
CHAR: What the hell are you-
*SLASH*
CHAR: *cough* How... did I not see this coming...
JSS: Think Charoline... think! This tactic of yours that consists of reading my movements... this is my tactic! I know all its' weaknesses!
CHAR: I see now. Jess Kalm, the real battle starts now! Be ready for my power!
JSS: Come at me, ghost.
Jess moves through the air in an unpredictable way.
CHAR: (Her aura has changed! This is not the once calm and collected fighting style she had. This is a whole different level.)
*DASH*
JSS: Did you forget that I can hear your thoughts?
*CLASH*
CHAR: I got my own weapon, you know!
JSS: Won't make a difference.
Charoline goes on the offensive and jumps towards Jess. She swings her blade rapidly. Jess parries all of her attacks and then thrusts her sword into Charolines' stomach. Charoline backs up to a safe distance. Ghosts don't bleed but her body is rapidly dying. Jess raises her sword towards her.
JSS: Charoline, what happens when ghosts die?
CHAR: Huh? What are you talking about?
JSS: Living things die and come here and just stay as a spectator their whole afterlife. But what about the ones whose soul is strong enough to exist. What happens if they die?
CHAR: They can't-
JSS: Don't give me that shit! Every thing that exists dies in some sort of way! Tell me what happens to ghosts when they die!
CHAR: They... get banished to hell to suffer for all eternity. That's what happens to the unfortunate.
JSS: I see. Then let me ask you a follow up question.
CHAR: Huh?
JSS: What happens if the infinity realm is destroyed?
CHAR: What are you... don't tell me you're planning on destroying the infinity realm!
JSS: I wasn't thinking about it... but I was feeling like it. Very well then. I'll figure it out on my own.
