Your footsteps echo through the halls of the palace. You slowly walk through them, glancing through the windows and at the sunset, enjoying it thoroughly considering this might be your last one. You can't help but let a tear escape your eye.
RHT: I can't believe it. I'm finally at the end of my journey.
You finally make your way into the main chamber, where you see Frisk sitting down on her throne, waiting for your arrival.
FSK: Welcome, harbinger.
RHT: Nice to finally meet you, grand knight.Frisk stands up and faces a giant arched window, staring at the kingdom. You loosen your body and relax. She shows no threat for now.
FSK: I suppose it's too late to convince you to turn back.
RHT: Afraid so.
FSK: Very well, in that case, let me ask you something.
RHT: What is it?Frisk closes her eyes and lets out a relieving sigh.
FSK: Was there something I could've done to prevent this?
This question catches you by surprise. Frisk waits for an answer. You ponder for a bit then answer reluctantly.
RHT: Maybe... but it's too late now.
FSK: Ah, I understand.
RHT: Do try to get where I'm coming from.
FSK: There's no need for that.
RHT: You mean...
FSK: I've understood your actions for a while now.You hesitate to ask, but after a while, you muster up enough courage.
RHT: Then you understand that I don't want to fight you.
FSK: Correct.
RHT: But at the same time, you can't let me through.
FSK: Sadly, you are correct again.
RHT: Then there is no other choice.
FSK: For a greater purpose, Rhett, I will not hold back. Both of you draw your respective blades. The air inside the chamber fills up with powerful auras. This battle signals the end of your journey, Rhett.
RHT: Jiguko, let's do this.
JGK: Right after you.
RHT: Ignite, Jiguko.Your body is engulfed in hellfire. Frisk doesn't react, instead steps forwards and suddenly disappears. Your expression fills with shock as you realise Frisk has moved behind you.
FSK: This is the ghost steps' perfect form.
Frisk swings her blade. In an instant before it can make contact, you turn around and raise your blade, managing to block the attack. Frisk is shocked at your reaction time. She backs up and dashes towards you again, swinging her blade, delivering strikes in quick succession.
RHT: (This is the grand knights' power?! So fast and lethal!)
Frisk continues to unleash powerful swings one after another. You can't retaliate as you're held back blocking the blows. Suddenly, a gust of dark smoke emerges from your arm and throws a ball of hellfire towards Frisk. She reacts and slices it in half.
JGK: You're not fighting alone, you know?
RHT: Of course. At this point, I'm no longer alone! You dash towards Frisk and swing your blade of hellfire relentlessly. She skillfully blocks each strike and counters with a smooth strike across your body, forcing you to back up and release the two-handed grip on your blade. Frisk takes advantage of the split second where you didn't have full control of your blade to swing once more, this time vertically. Unable to move your arm and block the strike it time, you focus the hellfire of your other arm into your hand, catching Frisks' blade and propelling her back into a pillar. She stands back up and wipes the dust off of her shoulders, before letting out a subtle smirk.
