You dash towards Xesh and swing your blades swiftly. He dodges and gets close to you. Xesh pushes his palm on your chest.
XSH: Ignite. *ABLAZE*

RHT: (Tsk. I understand he's a hybrid but even then, multiple elemental powers are absurd. Humans can use elemental powers if they comply with their soul trait. You charge up your blades and cause an explosion, covering the are in smoke in the process. You intend to use the smoke to catch Xesh off guard.
XSH: *sigh* Breeze.
A lashing wind suddenly blows across the battlefield and dissipates the smoke. You're confused.
RHT: (Wind too?! What abilities does this guy not have?! Wait... maybe I'm looking at this wrong...) *ZIP* XSH: You shocked at my abilities? RHT: Don't get too cocky. Every ability has a weakness. I'll find yours too.
You grip your blades tight and dash towards Xesh. He claps his hands together and shoots lightning. You use ghost step to dodge and get behind him.
RHT: I've got you now! XSH: *sigh* Too slow. RHT: Huh?!
Xesh disappears from your sight. You look around but can't find him anywhere.
RHT: Where the hell is he?! *RUMBLE*
The ground starts shaking and cracks. You're shocked at what comes out. A giant cupcake monster rises from the ground. Xesh sits on it.
XSH: I thought I'd bring an old friend over. RHT: Thanks Xesh. I have now realized your ability. XSH: About time, harbinger. RHT: I can't afford to hold back it seems. XSH: Finally some action.
