Rhett is now nearing the centre from the northern gate. Meanwhile, on the opposite end, Noire has reached the southern bridge.
NOR: Finally, I'm here! Took me long enough.
Noire steps onto the bridge and walks towards the centre, her axe being dragged on the ground. She is boiling from the inside with the intent to kill. Meanwhile, in the centre, everyone else is going into their positions. Sans and Grillby are having their last conversation in the tavern.
SNS: So this is it, huh?
GRB: Seems like it.
SNS: *sigh* I was hoping it would last longer.
GRB: Hmm? Why the sad look, sans?
SNS: After all we've done to get our happy ending, for it to just disappear like this, doesn't it feel unfair?
GRB: I know what you mean, but we shouldn't give up either way. We have to fight for the fallen.
SNS: *slam* What if I'm tired of fighting?!
GRB: Sans, calm down.
SNS: Sorry, I don't know what got into me.
GRB: It's quite alright. I understand your anger.
SNS: I'm too lazy to do anything. I'm too lazy to even save my friends.
GRB: Sans, don't say that.
SNS: I'm heading out grillbs.
GRB: Wait san-
*FWOOP*
Sans teleports away and Grillby is left alone in the tavern, all to his thoughts.
GRB: *sigh* Life is such a hassle sometimes.
He leans back in his chair and drifts away into sleep. Back on the soul bridge, Noire has been walking for quite a bit but hasn't made any visible progress.
NOR: What the hell is wrong with this bridge?!
*BOOM*
Noire gets furious and slams her axe into the ground, causing a huge explosion. The smoke dissipates.
NOR: Ugh, what am I doing?! I should just conti-
*GLITCH*
Noire notices a small gap in the floor. It looks like random noise. She kneels down and takes a closer look at it. Suddenly, the area around Noire starts glitching uncontrollably, as if reality was falling apart. The world slowly fades away, revealing where Noire really is. A dark figure approaches.
GNO: Welcome to the void, monster.
NOR: Tsk, so this is your doing.
GNO: I'm glad you like it.
NOR: What was the point in bringing me here? So I could kill you without anyone knowing?
GNO: Quite the opposite. I'll make sure this is your final resting place, Noire.
NOR: You look different, but my soul still knows your true identity, Chara... Oh? What's this? I can also feel that crazed doctors' energy inside of you. Don't tell me... Have you two weaklings fused in order to defeat me? Interesting... but it's still pathetic.
Noire points her axe towards Geno as a threat. Geno doesn't respond, but just summons a blade made up of the same material Enigma was made of. They stare eachother down.
