You grip your blades tight and dash towards your opponent. He doesn't flinch. You swing your blades.
*TRIP*

RHT: (What?! When was that rock there?!)
NOA: Seems like lady fortune has taken a disliking to you, harbinger.

You trip on a rock you didn't see before. Noah kicks you in the face whilst you're falling, pushing you to the ground. You grab your blades and stand back up. Noah is still smirking.

RHT: I'll wipe that smirk off your face.
NOA: Good luck with that, heh.

You lunge towards Noah, aiming for his vitals. He moves swiftly, evading the blade and grabbing you by the arm. Noah pulls and punches you in the face with his other fist. In that moment of shock, Noah pulls out a playing card and blasts it into your body. You drop down to the ground and cough up blood.

RHT: What... was that?
NOA: My signature weapon... the cards.

You struggle to get back up. Noah smirks. Your legs have just enough strength to hold you standing.

RHT: Luck... isn't your ability... is it?
NOA: What are you talking about..?
RHT: Your soul trait... elitism... doesn't alter luck.
NOA: (Don't tell me they figured it out!)
RHT: It simply just makes the best scenario happen.
NOA: And how is that helping you?
RHT: I'm going to put you in a scenario where even the best case ends in your death.

You can feel despair inside of Noahs' soul. He looks worried then before and that stupid smirk has finally been wiped away. You pick up your blades.

RHT: I didn't want to use this technique so early.

Strengthening the grip you have on the blades, they start to emmit a grey glow until they shatter into pieces. Noah stays focused. The blade pieces float up into the sky, passing the clouds and disappearing.

Inside the clouds appears a dark glow. It starts raining. Noah doesn't understand.

NOA: Your technique makes it rain?
RHT: You're going to realize soon.

Noah takes out his gun and is about to fire. Thousands of small cuts suddenly appear on his body. He drops to the ground, coughing up blood.

NOA: What is this?! How am I wounded?!
RHT: Have you not yet realized? Those small drops aren't rain... they're pieces of my blades.
NOA: What?! If your aim is to kill me... why isn't my luck helping?! What did you do?!
RHT: Even your soul understands that this is an unwinnable situation for you. This is the end for you.

Noahs' body shivers. His expression has shifted into pure shock. He bows his head down.

NOA: I wasn't strong enough, and for that I paid dearly... but you're mistaken if you think this is the end of me.
RHT: What are yo-?
NOA: Because no matter what happens, the good always prevails over the evil! Harbinger, you won't succeed!
RHT: What a shame. Such strong willpower given to such a weakling. Corpses shouldn't talk, you know?
NOA: Harbinger... take this as a parting gift.
RHT: What..?

Noah shoves his hand into his pocket and pulls out a playing card... a joker.

NOA: This is my wild card, the joker!

He throws the card towards you. It travels at an immense speed. You can't react in time. It pierces through your skin and wraps around your soul.

RHT: *grunt* What did you do?!
NOA: Heh, good luck Loyd.

Noahs' luck has been depleted. The rain stops. You are left without an answer. Whatever this joker cards' ability is, it won't be in your aid.
