Chapter 61: Uni-chan and Koebi-chan on the job!

After stepping back into the Mostro lounge that night, I was in awe of how lively the atmosphere is with people, and the music of classic jazz fills the room, a completely different atmosphere from our last visit.
"Wowee, this place sure is different from this morning," I mention as Jack trails behind me.
"Now, we're back deep in enemy territory. Don't let your guard down," he whispers seriously before standing close to me like a shadow, and we spot Floyd noticing our arrival.
"Ah, Koebi-chan. Welcome~ Uni-chan came too," greets Floyd in his dorm uniform.
"I told you I'm not a sea urchin!" snaps Jack in annoyance. I grip his jacket sleeve to calm him down, and Jade notices our arrival as well.
"Oh my...What's this now? Thank you for coming so soon," greets Jade professionally before leading us to a table to be seated and handing us each a menu. "Welcome to the Mostro Lounge. This is your first time visiting us, correct?"
"I thought about it this afternoon but...Do you enjoy asking questions you already know the answer to?" says Jack.
"Fufu, I like to keep my bases covered," replies Jade 'innocently' before returning to a slightly more serious expression.
"Well then, this may be presumptuous of me, but please allow me to explain a few pointers for this establishment. Mostro Lounge is a social meeting place for well-mannered gentlemen and ladies. Disputes between dormitories are strictly forbidden. Here, you shall follow the rules of Octavinelle, no matter which dorm you come from. Please follow the rules and enjoy your time in the lounge," he explains before placing a hand over his chest and flashing us a polite smile.
"With that out of the way... How may I assist you today?" Jade questions.
"I'd like to discuss the anemone situation...Please." I reply firmly.
"Fufufu...As you wish. Currently, our boss is attending to another customer. Can I ask you to wait for a short while?" Jade informs me before realising something. "And lest I forget, our establishment has a one-drink minimum. You must order at least a single beverage of some variety, along with a special parfait, so please make sure to do that," he suggests before calling towards a familiar figure of Deuce and Ace, who were busy serving a table nearby.
"Sea Anemones. Please take their order," instructs Jade at Deuce and Ace.
"Sorry, but I've got to deliver these drinks first," replies Deuce, while Ace replies. "We're busy, so how about you take their order at least? Seeing you laze while we work our asses off pisses me off."
Jade gives them a look of disappointment and folds his hands against his chest. "You're pretty bold for a bunch of anemones," comments Floyd suddenly as he walks up to them and squeezes their anemones.
*Squelch, Squelch...*
"Owowowow!!" cries Ace in pain.
"Stop pulling the anemone!" groans Deuce while Floyd stops squeezing the anemones on their heads.
"Azul has told me to give instructions to you new hires, so I have to discipline any behind-the-back talks properly," said Jade before Floyd squeezes their anemones again.
*Squelch, Squelch...*
"Ouch, owowow! I got it, I got it, okay!" replies Deuce in a hurry before I throw myself in front of Jade and Floyd and glare at them while I block Floyd from abusing Ace and Deuce any further.
