Today was Friday, Zac was off today and Fatima had a half day, Zac was getting Zakai ready and Fatima was getting the girls ready and Zayden was in the shower in his room, Zac and Fatima packed the kids a bag because they was going to Andi's house this weekend.
The kids love going to Andi's house, Andi just let me do whatever, Andi was truly the cool "auntie" she always had weekend plans planned for them, they was never in the house, the kids never gave her problems. Andi was picking them up straight from school, so she was cutting her day short, just for them.
Fatima and Zac also gave Andi the godmother role for all 4 of the Taylor's kids, they knew if something was to happen to either of them, Andi will be right there just as she is now, Andi was honored.
Between Lori , Andi and Madam Zac and Fatima was so appreciative of them, also with the help of Robin, Rafael and Amp, everyone came hard behind the kids, it's nothing like building your own family. They said blood makes you family but it only makes you related, Loyalty, love and trust make you family, the fact that they all stood on that was amazing.
In the girls room:
Zyla: Mommy?
Fatima: Yes mama?
Zyla: you know Kameron called Ms. Bishop mom yesterday and she was being so mean
Zaria: yeah she was mommy I think she bumped her head
Fatima: What you mean he called her mom? And being mean? To who? I hope not y'all.
Zyla: yes to us she kept yelling at us telling us to be quiet when other kids was talking
Fatima: Just y'all? Nobody else?
Zaria: Yes mommy
Fatima: Did you say anything smart to her? Cause I know how you are Zyla.
Zyla: told her stop talking to me before she gets smack by you
Fatima: Zyla you're 6 mama, you should not be talking to no adult like that. You have to be respectful even if somebody is being mean to you, that's when you come home and tell me and I'll handle cause I'm the adult, you're a child! Got it?
Zyla: but mommy you say I'm 6 why is she messing with a 6 year old
Fatima: I'll handle her, you just ignore her. You don't need to say nothing. I don't wanna have to conversation with you again about your mouth.
Zyla: She can say all these means things and I just have to sit there and be quiet
Fatima: Yes! Because you need to stay in a child's place Zyla.
Zaria: she needs to stay in a adult's place then mommy
Fatima: I agree she does, but y'all are represent of me and daddy, we can't be letting people think y'all are smart asses! Right? Or that y'all don't have no home training, cause y'all do. Some way y'all respect any other adult Ms. Bishop deserves the same treatment, Do y'all understand that?
Zyla: I understand mommy.
Zaria: (about to cry) yes
Fatima: Zaria what are you about to cry for mama?
Zyla: it's okay sissy you don't have to cry
Zaria: because mommy it feels like you taken her side (she let her tears out)
(Fatima got face to face with Zaria and wiped her tears)
Fatima: Zaria listen to me, I am on your side, and I'm on your sisters side, I know how Ms. Bishop is, but she's an adult though , you're not and ZyZy is not. Trust me mommy gone handle her. You don't have to cry I would never chose anyone over y'all. But y'all gotta know right from wrong. Talking back to an adult is WRONG! If you don't do that to me or your father why do y'all think it's okay to do it with another adult?
Zaria: because she's mean and she always get away with it no one ever listen to me (crying)
Fatima: I'm listening to you Zar, and I hear everything you saying. I told you mommy gone handle it, no reason for you to be getting upset.
Zaria: but you yelling at us
Fatima: I'm not yelling Zar, I just want you to understand what mommy is saying, if you think I'm yelling, I apologize sometimes when I'm frustrated mommy tends to get loud, it's not because of you, but it's because of me.
Fatima wiped Zaria eyes and gave her a hug, and Zyla joined in. It was reason like this Fatima felt like she was doing a great job, Fatima wasn't afraid to apologize to her kids when she was wrong, and she expected the same thing from them. Everybody always getting on Fatima about her gentle parenting but it works for her.
Fatima: Mommy loves the both of y'all very much, are we going to have a good day today?
Zyla: Yes mommy we are! I love you mommy
Zaria: Yes mommy! I love you too
After their moment they went downstairs, Kai was and Zayden was already down there, Zac was In the bedroom when Fatima walked in.
Zac: Everything good? I seen you having a conversation with the girls, I was gone come in but I didn't wanna interrupt y'all's moments
Fatima: Yeah they was telling me how Ms. Bishop was being mean to them yesterday, I'm telling you babe I'm hurt that bitch! It's one thing to fuck with me, but fucking with my kids, now you doing to much! But I was telling them about their mouth, and Zaria felt like I was being harsh so I apologize.
Zac: She about to be the next bitch on my list to get smacked babe what is her problem
Fatima: I don't know something weird going on, Zy told me Kameron called Bishop mom?
