Leonidas' point of view

I'M STILL sleeping.

It's cold outside so why would I bother on going out of my warm nappy bedsheet if I had all the time in my life to lie down and snorl all day.

Thunder claps outside. The rain's still not stopping. I think tomorrow will be the last day so I think work time will knock on my head not long.

I still can't rest for the rest of my life, can I?

Stupid Leonidas. How can you save the world if you'll just lazy yourself out here?

"May I talk with you for a minute?" that irritating voice didn't leave afterall. Ilang beses ko na syang tinataboy kanina pa pero ayaw talaga nyang magpatinag.

"We're already talking, dumbass. Now go away." singhal ko rito habang nakatalukbong pa rin ang buong mukha sa kumot ko. Isa pa 'tong taong 'to eh. Istorbo na nga ang ingay ng kulog, dumagdag pa sya.

He's sitting on a single chair no'ng silipin ko sya. Nasa isang madilim na corner ng kwarto. Nakakabilib. Halos isang oras ko na syang hindi pinapansin dyan pero ayan, wala pa ring pinagbago sa pagkakaupo nya.

"You looked like a statue over there." komento ko sa kanya.

"Can I speak with the cat?"

"No! Just go away, devil." katabi ko ngayon si Nekuma. Natutulog din habang si Nerfius ay nakaupong nakaharap naman sa town thief na 'yon. Binabantayan ang bawat kilos nya.

No one is deaf here. Tamang nandito nga ang town thief sa inn room namin. That masked man thief with green eyes to be more specific and I really hate that guy. I want to kill and catch him this instant but I'm too lazy to move right now. So nevermind that idea.

He's not harming us or anything so, why bother playing the rat and cat thingy?

Though I might try considering it when the rain stops.

"Then let me try talking with his master then."

Sa inis ko, mabilis akong bumangon akong nakaupo at matalim na tinitigan ang lalaking ito. His serene aura is bothering me. And that's what I really hate about him.

"Kahit magmakaawa ka pa sa harap ng batang 'yon, hinding-hindi mo sya mapapapayag na maisali ka sa faction namin."

"He's the captain, right? So it's not yours to decide that." sagot naman nya.

I pointed at him in an intense manner. "Hey! Who told you that lie? I'm the captain of this ship, remember that, dumbass."

"You mean faction. Not ship, captain." he corrects.

"Tsk." sabay iwas ko ng tingin. Ano bang gagawin ko sa lalaking 'to para tantanan na kami? And why would an NPC like him trying to join a player's faction huh? Is he nuts? Are there anything wrong with his wires or something?

"I heard you're saving everyone in this world." he suddenly brought out a topic I had never expected him to bring.

Napalingon ako sa kanya nang nakakunot ang noo. His green eyes are directly staring at me. "What are trying to say this time, huh?"

"You know, only few people are brave enough to put ambition like that in this living-hell world right now. You can't do this alone, so why not let me join you and then, I'll help you out. Think about it."

"Do you think I'm not strong enough to save everyone?"

"Frankly speaking, you absolutely can't."

As soon as he said those words freely, sinabayan ko ang ilaw ng kidlat at ingay ng kulog na nakapag-sprint palapit sa kanya.
