WE ARRIVED at the Dark Shrine few hours before sundown.

Along our way here, we encountered few monsters like giant snakes and devil monkeys and surprisingly, we escaped from all of their territories safely.

"Are everyone of us ready?" Phoenix states, as all of us are standing right infront of the Dark Shrine.

Leonidas sniffed. "I can totally smell danger inside."

"Hindi na magiging madali ang lahat simula rito." Pheris commented with worry. We then all looked at Phoenix who just clapped his hands two times. Turning to us before talking again. "If one of you might still have second thoughts about coming in. Pwede nyo pa 'tong atrasan. Going inside this Dark Territory also means your life is gonna be in a great possible danger. Sigurado ba talaga kayo sa papasukin nyong gulo?"

None of us answered back. Lucius yawned while the cat on my head meowed in tears before hugging my hair again before going back to sleep.

Then Kane raises his hand. "Permission to talk, captain!"

"Magsalita ka."

"Naiihi po ako!"

"UMIHI KA, TANGA!" All of us shouted to his ears, he felt dizzy by the sudden noise.

Sa ganitong sitwasyon pa talaga nya naisip magloko. Alistair got near me so I curiously stared to him. Does he need anything? "Can I ask for a favor?" he said.

"Anong ibig mong sabihin?"

"Can I look in your map?" I got furrowed eyebrows after hearing what he said. Like what he want, hinayaan ko syang tingnan ang mapa ko.

It tooked him two minutes just by inspecting on it, silently. More one like he's comparing his own map with mine and it wholly got me curious, I asked before clearing my throat. "What are you doing, by the way?"

"I'm trying to track down an egg. Pansin ko kasing mas advance 'yong map mo, so I thought maybe it got more details than mine." he answered without looking at me. He's still concentrated at what he is doing.

"Are you sure about the route?" Leonidas is making sure that our trip for this dangerous place will still be safe even with a little chance possible.

Phoenix smiled at him, forming a circle with his index and thumb finger. "Certainly. You all will get out of this mess later in one piece. Ako ang magiging tour guide nyo sa tagumpay!"

"Tour guide to death, maybe." Lucius butted in then yawned uninterestedly.

Hinarap muli ni Phoenix ang Dark Shrine gate. Masyadong maluwag ang entrance space kaya't nakakatakot talaga, the dark design of it is even scarier than it looks. Almost as big as a mansion is the size of the shrine, imagining how wide the space at its center. It's insane.

Napalingon ako kay Alistair nang ngumiti sya. "Found it."

"Nahanap mo ang egg?"

"Yah. Sure akong nando'n 'yon. Thanks for the help." He tapped by shoulder once before turning away its attention from me, smiling while looking at his own map.

Phoenix sniffs all the fresh air he can get before decided to step forward the threshold of this huge shrine.

Then a loud roar of an unknown beast clearly from somewhere out there on the other side of this shrine. We all stopped from walking, while our heart just started to beat in an uncontrollable pace.
