Aiden's Point of View
As I sit here with Wyatt, reminiscing about the events that have led us to this point, I can't help but feel grateful for the wonderful life we've built together. It all started with a great night after getting back together. We realized how much we still loved each other and decided to make things work.
A few months later, I resigned from my job and moved to the Philippines with Wyatt. We moved in together and began building a life together. We discussed the idea of starting a family and agreed that surrogacy was the best option for us.
One day, Wyatt surprised me with a tearful proposal, and I couldn't have been happier to say yes. A few months later, we flew to Austria to get married, and it was the most beautiful day of our lives.
My heart swelled with happiness as I looked at Wyatt standing at the altar, waiting for me. I couldn't believe that I was finally getting married to the love of my life. The memories of the day we got engaged rushed back to me as I walked down the aisle.
It was a beautiful summer evening, and we were sitting on the rooftop terrace of our house, watching the sun go down. Wyatt had been unusually quiet that day, and I had noticed that he had been nervous and fidgety all evening. I had assumed that he was just tired after a long day at work and hadn't thought much of it. But as the sun began to set, Wyatt turned to me with tears in his eyes and said, "Aiden, I have something to tell you."
For some reason, I felt nervous. Anong meron? Is he tired of me now?
I gulped, trying to hide my nervousness. "A-Ano 'yon?"
My heart had raced as Wyatt took my hand and began to speak. "Aiden, I love you more than anything in this world. You are my best friend, my confidant, and my soulmate. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, and I can't imagine living without you." He stopped for a moment and squeezed my hand. "Aiden, will you marry me?"
Huh? Did I get scared for no reason? Damn. Sabihin niyo na hindi lang ito panaginip.
I had been taken aback and couldn't believe what I was hearing. I had always known that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Wyatt, but hearing those words from him had filled me with an overwhelming sense of joy and love. I had thrown my arms around him, and we had hugged tightly as Wyatt slipped a beautiful diamond ring onto my finger.
Now, standing in front of him in a beautiful castle in Austria, I felt as though I was living in a dream. I looked at Wyatt, who was smiling back at me, and knew that I was the happiest man in the world.
After the ceremony, we went out into the gardens for a quiet moment alone. "I can't believe we're married," I said, with tears of joy in my eyes. "I love you so much, Wyatt."
"I love you too, Aiden," Wyatt said, pulling me close. "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you."
As we walked hand in hand through the gardens, I thought about all the adventures we would have together in the years to come. I knew that we would face challenges and obstacles along the way, but I was confident that we would be able to overcome them together.
As we made our way back to the castle for the reception, I felt as though my heart was overflowing with love and happiness. I knew that I had found my forever in Wyatt, and I couldn't wait to start our new life together as husband and wife.

When our baby was finally born, we were overwhelmed with joy. We raised our child with love and care, and watching him grow was one of the greatest joys of our lives. However, after six years, the woman who gave birth to our child decided she wanted him back.
I sat on the couch, my mind racing with thoughts as I held my son tightly in my arms. VJ had just come home from school and was telling me all about his day, completely oblivious to the turmoil brewing inside my heart.
"Aiden? Is everything okay?" Wyatt asked, walking into the living room and noticing the pensive expression on my partner's face.
I sighed deeply and looked up at Wyatt. "No, everything is not okay. Remember the woman who was our surrogate?"
Wyatt nodded slowly, his expression serious. "Yes, what about her?"
"She wants our son back," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.
Wyatt's eyes widened in shock. "What? Why? What's going on? Kailangan ba niya ng pera? Kulang pa ba ang binayad natin sa kaniya?"
"I don't know all the details yet, but she claims that she's changed her mind and wants to raise him herself," I said, my voice cracking with emotion. "She's taking us to court, Wyatt. She's trying to take our son away from us."
Wyatt sat down next to me on the couch and put his arm around me. "We won't let that happen. We'll fight for him with everything we have."
I'm thankful that Wyatt is with me.
I nodded, grateful for Wyatt's support. "I just can't believe this is happening. We love him so much, and he loves us. How could she even think about taking him away?"
"I don't know, babe," Wyatt said, rubbing my back soothingly. "But we'll do whatever it takes to keep our family together."
Wyatt and I were devastated at the thought of losing our child, but we knew we had to do what was best for him. We sat down with him and explained the situation, expecting him to be upset and confused.
To our surprise, our child was wise beyond his years. He told us that he loved us and wanted to stay with us, his fathers. We were both so relieved and grateful that our child chose us, and we knew we would do everything in our power to protect him and keep him safe.
The next few months were some of the hardest of our lives. Me and Wyatt went to court and fought tooth and nail for custody of our son. We presented evidence of our love and care for him, as well as evidence that the surrogate had signed a legal agreement giving up her rights to the child.
Finally, the judge ruled in their favor, citing the best interests of the child as the primary consideration. We were overjoyed and relieved beyond words.
When we told our son the news, he jumped up and down with excitement. "Yay! I get to stay with my daddies!"
I hugged him tightly, tears streaming down my face. "Yes, you do, my love. You always will."
As we sit here now, surrounded by our family and friends, we can't help but feel grateful for everything we've been through. Our love has been tested, but it has only grown stronger with each challenge we've faced. We are blessed to have each other, our child, and the life we've built together.
Looking back on our journey, we knew that we had been through so much together, but we had come out the other side stronger and more in love than ever before. We had built a beautiful family, and we were grateful for every moment we had together.
As we sat together on the couch, watching our son play in the yard, I took Wyatt's hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. "We've been through so much together," I said. "But I wouldn't want to be on this journey with anyone else."
Wyatt turned to me and smiled. "Me neither," he said. "You're my rock, Aiden. And I love you more than anything in this world."
Our journey was not without its challenges, but we faced them together with love and unwavering commitment to each other and our family. Our decision to have a child through surrogacy was a testament to our deep love for one another and our desire to build a family. And when our son was born, we knew that our family was complete.
Raising a child was not always easy, but me and Wyatt always put our son's needs first, and we did everything in our power to ensure that he was loved, cared for, and happy. As our son grew older, he became more and more a part of our lives, and we could not imagine our family without him.
So when the woman who gave birth to our son came back into our lives, I was understandably anxious. We had built a life with our son, and the thought of losing him was unbearable.
With tears in our eyes, we held each other close, grateful for the love that had brought us together and the family that we had built. And as we watched our son grow and thrive, we knew that we had everything we could ever need.
So I want to thank Wyatt for being my strength, my rock, and my partner in life. And I want to thank the problem that brought us even closer together, for showing us just how strong our love could be. I know that no matter what the future may hold, we will always have each other, and that is truly all that we need.
The passage above is a beautiful testament to the power of love, family, and gratitude. It highlights how, even in the face of difficult times, we can find happiness and fulfillment by focusing on what truly matters.
As we go through life, we all encounter obstacles and challenges that can seem insurmountable at times. But it's important to remember that these difficulties can also be opportunities for growth and transformation. When we face our problems head-on and work through them, we often emerge stronger and more resilient than before.
At the same time, it's important to acknowledge and appreciate the people in our lives who provide us with support and love. Whether it's a partner, a parent, a friend, or a child, having someone who believes in us and stands by us can make all the difference in the world.
So, as you read this passage, I encourage you to reflect on the relationships and experiences in your own life that have brought you joy and strength. Take a moment to express gratitude for the people who have supported you, and for the challenges that have helped you grow.
Remember that even in the toughest of times, there is always something to be thankful for. And with love and perseverance, we can overcome any obstacle and build a life filled with meaning and purpose.
Our story will keep going, I have found my happiness and strength, and I hope you find yours too.
