Hallies pov.

"are your things packed?" asked Sage as she tried to stuff her things into her bag to get it shut.
"yup" i said, grabbing my bags and swinging one of them around my shoulder.
i looked around the dorm, knowing i wouldn't see it until September.... knowing i wouldn't see George until September.

Sage began to exit the dorm but i had remembered something.
"hold on!" i said.
"okay!" she shouted from the hall.
i dug around in my drawer and pulled out the piece of clothing in the back of my drawer.
the red hoodie, which had George's familiar scent on it. i smiled as i stuffed it into my bag, he had an amazing scent.
"we're going to miss the train at this point!" shouted Sage.
"coming!" i said as i closed up the bag and throwing back on my shoulder.

"what'd you forget?" she asked, knowing me well.
"just a hoodie" i smiled, my cheeks reddened at the thought of Georges hoodie. i'm mental.

-

we headed downstairs, Sage and I dramatically looked around as if we weren't ever coming back.
it was only 3 months and a 1/2 and we would be back at school. the thought of leaving behind the tests and work didn't bother me as much though. however i knew it would feel weird not waking up in the same room as Sage, or not being able to go down to breakfast and wave at George from the Hufflepuff table.

"don't start crying on me" laughed Sage as we waited in the library until it was time to leave.
"i won't" i assured her.
"who's crying" said the familiar voice of Fred who was walking towards Sage and I with George walking close behind him.
"hey" said Sage as she awkwardly gave Fred a hug, her cheeks tinted pink.

"so" i said, walking over to George.
"so" he replied.
"im going to practice real hard during the summer"
"practice what?"
"beating you in chess"
"you're still not over that then" he smiled.
i pulled my lips into a thin line.
"im not that bad" i said.
"not to bad" he smiled.
"to bad i can't fly a broom without your help"
"that's a lie" George said.
"it would be much better with another person though"
"don't you have brothers, and one of them plays Quidditch for Slytherin?"
i put my finger up to his lips. "shhh"

he pushed my hand away jokingly.
"alright alright" he said looking down at me.
"what time is it?" i asked, he turned to look at the clock.
"time for us to leave" he said as he walked over to Fred and Sage to inform them so we could all walk together.

-

we all took a walk and found a carriage, all of us sitting on one together, Fred and Sage talked the whole ride down, i watched as the school slowly disappeared from my view behind the trees.
the sky which had now turned into a dark dusty sky littered with stars was calming.
i looked to George who was already looking at me, our eyes connecting as he soon pulled his gaze from me. i looked away with pink cheeks. either i was hot or i was crazy.

we had pulled ourselves onto the train, Fred and George helped Sage and I with our bags as we searched for an empty compartment, which was close to the back of the train since we had arrived a bit later than expected.

we all crammed into the compartment, Sage and I sat across from Fred and George.
Sage and Fred still immersed in conversation as i stared out the window thinking of what i would do this summer. i daydreamed about the simplicity of no school work, it sounded nice.
outside the window the snow on the grounds had almost completely melted, the grass a bright green even with the dark night sky. trees passed by as i curled my legs up to my chest and watched Fred pull a card trick on Sage.

i occasionally looked over at George, who looked at me and made a funny face which made me huff a breath of laughter. my eyes getting heavier now as i rested my head on my knees. the humming of the train lulling me to sleep as well and Sage and Fred's soft speaking and Sages giggles.

-

"Hallie" i heard my name as i opened my eyes and woke up from the shaking of a hand.
i sat up and looked around noticing how George was sitting next to me and i had been laying my head against his shoulder, my neck ached as i rubbed it uncomfortably.
"why are you sitting there" i furrowed my brows, noticing that Sage and Fred were no where to be found.
"oh, Sage wanted to play chess with Fred and you had fallen asleep on her shoulder so i volunteered as a pillow" he smiled.
"oh" i said awkwardly. did i snore? does my breath smell bad?! oh god i hope my breath doesn't smell bad, oh and my hair.

i flattened out my hair with panic.
"where are they?" i asked.
"they went to get snacks from the trolley" he informed me. i nodded and rubbed my sleepy eyes.
"how long was i asleep"
"about two hours"
"you didn't move for two hours?! im sorry" i felt bad as i rubbed my aching neck again, i knew it would feel strained like this for a few days.
"i didn't mind" he smiled innocently and i felt terrible.

"we're back" said a whispering Sage as she walked into the compartment with her hands full.
"woah! since when were you rich" i said looking at all the treats her and Fred both held.
"oh! you're awake" said Sage as she put all the treats in between her and Fred once they had both sat down.
"i paid" said Fred.

i reached over and grabbed a chocolate frog.
"how are you rich" i asked, opening the chocolate frog with care.
"selling Weasley products" said Fred.
"we don't get to many sells" George said reaching over and grabbing a chocolate frog as well.
"you wanna buy me something?" i joked with them. George smiled. "im good" he joked.

i leaned back into my seat and finished off the chocolate frog whilst shoving the card it came with into my back pocket.

-

the rest of the seven hours on the train we played games and laughed to hard because of our sugar high, then we had a sugar crash and all got a couple hours of sleep, i tried not to lean on George again just in case i was making him uncomfortable, but i did end up waking up with my head leaning on his shoulder again, his head was leaning against the window as he slept. i didn't mind to much with my love language being physical touch and all.

i looked over at Fred and Sage with a smile, if i could take a picture of them and tease Sage about it forever i would. i printed the image into my memory to make fun of her later, knowing she would blush like a mad women.

the train had come to a slow stop after 45 minutes of sitting in silence, i had decided to let the three of them sleep since they didn't wake me. it was peaceful, surprisingly calming.
they had jerked awake from the train and from all the students clamoring and opening compartment doors.

we all grabbed our bags, Fred and George once again helping us get our bags off.
i hugged the twins goodbye (and gave George a parchment with my address written on it) and they had went to their family who was a group of red heads. i walked with Sage and we found her brother, i said hello to him and then said goodbye, giving Sage a hug and reminding her to send me a letter the minute she's able to. then i had gone to find my parents, giving them warm hugs and kisses, then i was off to have a boring summer.
