Hallies pov.

i slowly open my eyes to feel the soft warm feeling of Georges lips kissing down my jawline.
i smile and turn over, feeling the warmth of his body in the bedsheets.
i look into his warm glittering eyes. the sunlight peaking through the curtains that hang above his window, or maybe i should say our window.
he leans in and places a kiss on my lips. you would think i'd cringe at both of our morning breath but all i feel is love. maybe that will fade twenty years down the line.

i trace his collarbone with my fingers.
"i can't believe we live together" i say, my morning voice sounding like i need a glass of water.
"i know.." he says, his morning voice is nice and gravely. i softly drag my fingers along the stubble of his chin and use my thumb to feel his soft lips.
"what time is it" i ask. he looks over my shoulder.
"7:15" he replies. i groan. George should be getting up by now, but i don't want him to leave, so i pull him close.
"you can't distract me.." he says, lingering on his words as a grin stretches across his face.
my mouth hangs open dramatically. "George Weasley, i am not trying to distract you" i smile into his chest.
he plays around with my hair which makes me even more sleepy.

"alright.." he says after a few minutes.
i hum, pulling him closer. "don't leave me" i look up at him. he looks away from my pleading eyes.
"don't pull out those eyes on me" he smiles.
"what eyes.." i say.
"Hallie.." he looks at me.
"fine.. fine" i roll back to where i was just laying and watch him pull the sheets back and get out of bed, he pulls on his trousers and a t-shirt as he walks into the bathroom.
i get out of bed and pull on one of his t-shirts that pools around me and walk over to him.

i wrap my arms around his torso as he brushes his teeth.
he fixes his hair then waddles over to the door.
"Hallie.." he says. i groan then let go of him.
he turns to look down at me and i place a kiss on his cheek.
"i love you" he smiles at me.
"i love you too" i smile and he leaves the room.

when the door shuts i fall back into bed and stare at the ceiling with a smile on my face.

George and I have already been living with each other for a few weeks. it's everything i've wanted and more.
and even though we live with two other people it actually feels like we have privacy.
and with all my years of sharing a dorm with Sage I got used to sharing a space with somebody else.
I almost feel like it would be weird not living with her anymore. I know eventually we would have to move out, like when we start our own families, but right now, life seems pretty perfect....

until that night when George and I were sleeping peacefully and somebody had barged into the room turning on the light.
i awoke with a start and saw Fred in the doorway, looking hazy through my vision and not looking tired at all, looking like he's ready to leave. Sage behind him pulling on a cardigan.
"what's going on" i mutter, rubbing my eyes. George sits up. "what is it?"
"get up, we're going to help Harry."

the more i think the more i know nothing is even perfect about my life.
maybe George, he's pretty perfect in my eyes. but loosing a close friend, loosing my own blood, my sister. all of it isn't so perfect. in my ideal dream life, i would be off living on a mountain with George and nobody i know would be dead.
but here I am flying through the sky, half asleep, at midnight whilst following a bunch of other wizards around. it sounds crazy. probably looks even crazier.

when we land, i look around the little neighborhood, a few street lights flicker creepily, but other than that every yard looks perfectly tidied up. and every house has their lights off and curtains closed.
a few moments later, Hagrid lands on his motorbike and climbs off the thing.
"alright.. come on" Moody says. we all walk over to the house Harry grew up in. it seems like the perfect place, but i know his life here wasn't sunshine and rainbows.
