2 Weeks Later.
~•Zhari Giovanni Welsh•~Finally, the last bell of the day rang and I wasted no time grabbing my bag putting it over my shoulders. I couldn't wait to get out of this place. 3 tests in one day had me drained.
"Z, where you headed?" Mia and Kim asked as I made it into the hallway.
"I guess Starbucks. That's where I was going to take Kaiah to spend a little time with her." I told them.
"Okay, mami. Text me." Mia said and I nodded before hugging both her and Kim. They left out of the building just as Kaiah walked over to me with Jahleel's arm wrapped around her waist
My little sister is only 16 so when I found out about her being in a relationship, of course I wasn't ecstatic about it because in my eyes no boy would ever be good enough for her.
Jahleel proves me wrong though because he makes my sister very happy. Just as long as he knows to always make her happy and not break her heart, we'll always be cool.
"Hey you two." I greeted them.
"Sup, Z?" Leel greeted back looking like his big brother.
"Okay so I know we were supposed to go to Starbucks and everything but can we take a rain check? Jahleell wants to take me to the movies today." She said as she twiddled with her fingers.
"Oh yeah that's fine. Just blow your big sister off." I said with mock hurt.
"Zhari I promise to clear my schedule for this weekend. The whole weekend just me and you." She said.
I playfully rolled my eyes. "Kai I'm kidding. Go have fun with your boyfriend and we'll just do something this weekend. That's cool."
"Okay. I love you and I'll see you at home later." She said before hugging me and I kissed her cheek before hugging Jahleel as well.
We walked outside to the parking lot and I watched as they got into Jahleel's car and pulled off. The parking lot was empty now besides my car and a few other cars here and there.
I got into my car and started my journey home. I was beyond tired and couldn't wait to be blessed with this great ass nap.
...
"Like damn, Z. Yo phone don't work or somethin'?" Jayoni asked as soon as I pulled into the driveway of my house and stepped out of my car.
"It's dead, Jay." I told him truthfully pulling my very much so dead iPhone 6 out of my pocket.
He looked me up and down before licking his lips and nodding as I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Aight, you need to get a portable charger or something. You had a nigga worried about yo lil ass."
"Aw." I cooed before hugging him. "Thanks for being worried, bestie."
He chuckled. "Don't call me that gay shit, bruh." He said before kissing my cheek. "Whatchu bout to do, ma?"
"Well, I'm really tired so I'm going to go to sleep. You?"
