~•Jayoni Amir Carter•~Zhari was in tears once I got her home. Her emotions were all over the place but anger took overall.
"Look at me." I told her sittin' her up on the kitchen counter and grabbin' her face. Tears streamed down her face and her eyes were red.
"I-I wanna fight her! But I can't. Because I'm pregnant." She sobbed. "I hate her so much, that bitch is not my cousin. Her or Clarice and I swear to God I'm gonna beat both of their asses."
I've never seen her so upset and it made me want to let her go back and fuck bitch up. I hated when she cried because it made me feel bad as fuck.
"Baby girl, calm down for me please." I kissed at her tears. "Please. Kim and Mia got them, baby."
"And that's why they're my fucking sisters. They always have my back but I'm still going to beat Giovana's ass and Clarice's ass on my own." She went on. "Your family must think I'm crazy now. What if the hate me? Oh my gosh." She started cryin' more.
"Z, chill. Madear and my mama love yo ass to death." I told her as my phone started ringin'. "This my mama now." I answered the phone. "Wassup, mama?"
"How's my baby, Jay. Is she cooled down now?"
"I'm workin' on it." I told her lookin' over at Z who had her head in her hands.
"Madear told me what happened to her." She said referrin' to her bein'....raped and beatin'. I hate thinkin' bout that shit. Real talk.
Don't think we forgot about Pharaoh bitch ass either. As soon as Z go back to campus, we gone get his ass and just know, he ain't leavin' that trap alive.
It's just crazy because that was my pop's nigga. Now I gotta kill him for puttin' his hands on my girl.
"Jayoni, let me speak to her."
I gave the phone to Z before standin' off to the side just starin' at her and listenin' to the one-sided conversation.
"Hello?...Hey Ms. Miranda...A little bit I guess. Just embarrassed...Because I shouldn't have let her get that reaction from me but she knew what I went through and she hit a nerve saying that..." She wiped her face and sniffed before continuing to talk. "I know...tell Madear I said that I love her too..." She laughed a bit. "I will, don't worry..." She laughed again. "Yes, thank you...love you, too. Goodnight."
She gave me the phone back. "Yeah, ma?"
"Make her feel better, baby boy. Don't let her stress herself out, you hear me?"
"Yeah, I got her, mama. Don't worry."
"Alright now. Love you."
"Love you too."
I hung up and put my phone to the side.
"You okay now?" I asked Z.
She nodded. "I'm better."
"Good. I don't want you cryin' no more. That shit don't be sittin' well with me." I told her seriously.
She leaned over and put her arms around my shoulders. "I love you."
